I love the ease of being able to remotely upload and manage what is on the screens. It makes everyone's jobs so much easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the drawbacks of Yodeck is also a good thing - I feel like there are so many capabilities and features that it makes it a little hard to learn and isn't always intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Yodeck is how easy it is to manage content across multiple screens from one central dashboard. The drag-and-drop interface makes creating and scheduling content super intuitive, and the fact that I can do it all remotely saves a lot of time and hassle. It’s also great that Yodeck offers a free player for the first screen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Yodeck is very user-friendly overall, some of the more advanced features take a bit of time to discover or understand without digging through documentation. Also, the design customization options within the platform can feel somewhat limited if you want highly tailored visuals — in those cases, creating content externally is still necessary. It’s not a dealbreaker, but there’s definitely room for a bit more creative flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was looking for a solution to be able to use my screen vertically. Yodeck was the perfect solution. Also,I am very impressed that such a high level display tool can be accessed free if you are only using one screen. This makes a big difference for me. When musicians and artists come to my studio, they spend time looking at the screen. This creates great conversations and helps me connect with my customers in a very genuine and natural way. The only thing that would make me even more excited about the service could be extended to 2 screen free. Although I acknowledge one screen free is probably fair :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yodeck has completely transformed the way my organization and I do digital signage. We used to have individual USB sticks for all of our 40+ screens throughout our building, but was looking for a more manageable solution and landed on Yodeck. Yodeck has been absolutely game-changing for us. The ability to schedule graphics, videos, and "apps" (like weather or calendar widgets) have allowed our screens to always show the most relevant thing at any given moment. It has also freed up our team by allowing them to prepare screens well in advance, creating a nearly "set it and forget it" system. Implementing these devices is also very easy, as all you have to do is give the player power and an internet connection. Yodeck also is continuously updating their system with features and apps to make it the best it can be, which assures me that we have the product of a company that truly cares about their users. The Yodeck interface was slightly difficult to learn at first. Additionally, assigning individual graphics to individual screens on a regularly scheduled basis can be somewhat time consuming if you have a lot of screens, however the time it takes is still significantly less than using USBs or other over the network services. I am very contempt to finally have found the perfect digital signage solution for our use case. While it is easy to get up and running fast, the yodeck features open a world of possibilities to explore and expand the use cases with a large number of App integrations, REST API , etc. I am almost certain to expand its usage to other areas and company sites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup process to get my pi running was very easy and quick. The dashboard is easy and intuitive to use. Once set up it has been running absolutely reliably and stable. Maintenance of the raspberry pis is practically zero. Yodeck supports a wide range of media including the display of websites which was one of my most important requirements in our SOC to display PRTG maps of our monitored IT infrastructure. The central administration with the possibility to add users based on a role concept with groups and assigned workspaces with screens was also a key requirement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very nice Narrowcasting platform that saves me from the hassle to build my own server to host such a system. Within one hour I had a demo running on our 65 inch Android TV with the Yodeck Player.
Support from Yodeck is pleasant surprise because they replied within the hour every time I had questions. Even though Yodeck is already very stable they are open for improvement. When I mention something they will forward tips to their developers when needed.
So heavily recommended for first time users but also suitable for experienced narrowcasters! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The differences in app/file support on available players. The Yodeck player on Raspberry Pi platform is the ultimate player. This means that you have to buy this hardware to get the experience. The Windows and Android apps are free but have less functionality. I would prefer the same feature support on all platforms/Yodeck players. Maybe consider to charge a one-time fee for the player apps to enable developers to create the same feature support on all platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our church was wanting to have a slide show of event pictures. They installed a TV, and it was then I was tasked with figuring out how to make the IT magic happen. Yodeck made this process so easy, I went from knowing nothing about Yodeck to having a fully functional slideshow going in 20 minutes or less. Yodeck automagically pulls new images from a Dropbox folder and I was even able to schedule the TV to turn on and off at specific times. I had a Raspberry Pi 4 sitting around for years and it was finally put to use, even the processing of converting that to a Yodeck player was a breeze. Such an amazing out-of-the-box experience. I highly recommend this product and am even considering installing some for my clients. Hats off to you, Yodeck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Yodeck for about a month now, and so far, I have no complaints. I had one question in regard to the Dropbox integration, and support was fast and super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yodeck provides a streamlined process to communicate media on a TV. You can organise media, create schedules, playlists, import Google Slides, setup widgets, and so much more.
Long gone are the days of plugging in a USB to the side of the screen or needing to connect a laptop and running through HDMI, just hoping the aspect ratio matches. Yodeck sorts this all for us remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love to be able to setup a playlist, assign it to a schedule, but have certain images within the playlist set with an expiry date of sorts. For example, if an event were promoted through an image in a playlist, to ensure that event is promoted after the event takes place, I can create a second playlist, go into my schedules, and then have one playlist (with event promo) set to a certain date, and then another playlist after that.
If I could instead set an expiry on that image, I setup one playlist, set it to run forever, and then load in my image with an expiry or "auto-remove from playlist" date to help me automate my workflow and not need as many playlists.
Just a small thing.
One other, is that one user can't have access to multiple Yodeck properties. I need to set up another email for another Yodeck. This really needs to be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Yodeck for a while now, and it’s been a really solid experience. Setting it up was a breeze, and the interface is super easy to navigate. I love that you can use a Raspberry Pi to keep costs down, and managing content remotely is super convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple of small quirks here and there, and I wish there were a few more customization options, but overall, it does exactly what I need it to do. Plus, their support team is really helpful when you need them. Definitely happy with it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can give multiple content creators access to the product and they can adjust the content from anywhere. Unlike so many other companies, Yodeck also provides security for all levels of the platform. That tells me that they take security seriously rather than putting it behind a paywall. SSO at all levels is a game changer and very much appreciated. The multiple options of how things are presented and where you can pull from is also very convenient. I'll be honest, the platform is surprisingly affordable for everything that it does. Sometimes it can be confusing as to where you put things, but I'm an IT guy. The content people who work with it regularly seem to have all of that figured out. I just had to do the initial setup so admittedly I didn't attempt to become a SME. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At Grove Studios, we absolutely love Yodeck's remote management capabilities. Running 24/7 self-service music studios across multiple locations means we can't always have staff on-site, but Yodeck lets us update content, schedules, and important information from anywhere. The playlist functionality has been perfect for showcasing our member spotlights, upcoming events, and membership packages.
The ease of use is outstanding - even our less tech-savvy team members picked it up quickly. Setting up the display as we've expanded has been plug-and-play simple. We especially appreciate the scheduling features that let us program content weeks in advance, which is crucial during busy recording seasons when we're focused on supporting our musicians.
Their reliability has been rock-solid, which is essential for our operation where screens need to display critical information at all hours. The system has experienced minimal downtime in the years we've been using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is only a learning curve as there are so many features. Not really a downside, but it DOES take time to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
