I use this daily in my classroom. Its great for keeping my students up to date and eliminates questions about whats happening in the classroom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the "push to screens" is slow, but that maybe caused by other things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The abundant and easy-to-use features makes Yodeck one of the most attractive out of the box media players on the market. All of the built-in connectors, apps, and functions make setup a breeze and maintaning playlists is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support usually takes at least 24 hours to respond, since they are not based in the U.S. Certain things are not communicated clearly, like the 1GB players are unable to support 4K resolution but we did not find this out until after we had them shipped. The wireless radios in the Yodeck players are much weaker than expected, we have to have them within very close proximity to a wireless AP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy program to use. I had to contact customer service regarding a question and they responded quickly. Easy to connect to a TV and easy to change the program remotely. The integration is super easy and I have had no trouble with connecting to different devices. I use this weekly and so far no troubles. It comes on when I need it and only takes a few moments to get it rolling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Seems to be difficult to get background music to play for the duration of the playlist. I wish there was a cap on the price once you reached a certain amount of devices you connect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I liked most about Yodeck is the flexibility and ease of deployment. We currently use Yodeck to display internal dashboards across our offices, and we plan to expand its use to our stores for product advertising. Both the pre-configured Raspberry Pi devices provided by Yodeck and our own RPi setups have worked flawlessly. The wide variety of media types and built-in apps is impressive and gives us a lot of freedom in what we can show. We’re on the Enterprise plan, which is very reasonably priced — especially considering it includes hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The layout editor could be more intuitive, especially when compared to some competitors. Additionally, while it’s possible to group media files, this grouping functionality is currently missing in other sections like Apps, Playlists, Layouts, Schedules, and Screens. That would really improve content management, especially at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Yodeck is how easy it is to manage content across multiple screens from one central dashboard. The drag-and-drop interface makes creating and scheduling content super intuitive, and the fact that I can do it all remotely saves a lot of time and hassle. It’s also great that Yodeck offers a free player for the first screen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Yodeck is very user-friendly overall, some of the more advanced features take a bit of time to discover or understand without digging through documentation. Also, the design customization options within the platform can feel somewhat limited if you want highly tailored visuals — in those cases, creating content externally is still necessary. It’s not a dealbreaker, but there’s definitely room for a bit more creative flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the ease of use and set up with Yodeck — once we got the players connected to the internet, using the system for what we needed (displaying static images for about a week at a time on monitors around our church) was pretty straightforward. The setup was also fairly easy. The pricing is also the best we've found because the player is included. The staff were also helpful when I contacted them before purchase to get clarification on plan features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one hurdle in setup was figuring out how to connect the players to our (admittedly not great) wifi. The frequency of onboarding emails was also a little much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was looking for a solution to be able to use my screen vertically. Yodeck was the perfect solution. Also,I am very impressed that such a high level display tool can be accessed free if you are only using one screen. This makes a big difference for me. When musicians and artists come to my studio, they spend time looking at the screen. This creates great conversations and helps me connect with my customers in a very genuine and natural way. The only thing that would make me even more excited about the service could be extended to 2 screen free. Although I acknowledge one screen free is probably fair :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yodeck has completely transformed the way my organization and I do digital signage. We used to have individual USB sticks for all of our 40+ screens throughout our building, but was looking for a more manageable solution and landed on Yodeck. Yodeck has been absolutely game-changing for us. The ability to schedule graphics, videos, and "apps" (like weather or calendar widgets) have allowed our screens to always show the most relevant thing at any given moment. It has also freed up our team by allowing them to prepare screens well in advance, creating a nearly "set it and forget it" system. Implementing these devices is also very easy, as all you have to do is give the player power and an internet connection. Yodeck also is continuously updating their system with features and apps to make it the best it can be, which assures me that we have the product of a company that truly cares about their users. The Yodeck interface was slightly difficult to learn at first. Additionally, assigning individual graphics to individual screens on a regularly scheduled basis can be somewhat time consuming if you have a lot of screens, however the time it takes is still significantly less than using USBs or other over the network services. I am very contempt to finally have found the perfect digital signage solution for our use case. While it is easy to get up and running fast, the yodeck features open a world of possibilities to explore and expand the use cases with a large number of App integrations, REST API , etc. I am almost certain to expand its usage to other areas and company sites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup process to get my pi running was very easy and quick. The dashboard is easy and intuitive to use. Once set up it has been running absolutely reliably and stable. Maintenance of the raspberry pis is practically zero. Yodeck supports a wide range of media including the display of websites which was one of my most important requirements in our SOC to display PRTG maps of our monitored IT infrastructure. The central administration with the possibility to add users based on a role concept with groups and assigned workspaces with screens was also a key requirement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very nice Narrowcasting platform that saves me from the hassle to build my own server to host such a system. Within one hour I had a demo running on our 65 inch Android TV with the Yodeck Player.
Support from Yodeck is pleasant surprise because they replied within the hour every time I had questions. Even though Yodeck is already very stable they are open for improvement. When I mention something they will forward tips to their developers when needed.
So heavily recommended for first time users but also suitable for experienced narrowcasters! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The differences in app/file support on available players. The Yodeck player on Raspberry Pi platform is the ultimate player. This means that you have to buy this hardware to get the experience. The Windows and Android apps are free but have less functionality. I would prefer the same feature support on all platforms/Yodeck players. Maybe consider to charge a one-time fee for the player apps to enable developers to create the same feature support on all platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our church was wanting to have a slide show of event pictures. They installed a TV, and it was then I was tasked with figuring out how to make the IT magic happen. Yodeck made this process so easy, I went from knowing nothing about Yodeck to having a fully functional slideshow going in 20 minutes or less. Yodeck automagically pulls new images from a Dropbox folder and I was even able to schedule the TV to turn on and off at specific times. I had a Raspberry Pi 4 sitting around for years and it was finally put to use, even the processing of converting that to a Yodeck player was a breeze. Such an amazing out-of-the-box experience. I highly recommend this product and am even considering installing some for my clients. Hats off to you, Yodeck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Yodeck for about a month now, and so far, I have no complaints. I had one question in regard to the Dropbox integration, and support was fast and super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
