As a frequent user of Wudpecker, I find it incredibly helpful in my day-to-day work. One of the things I appreciate most about the tool is how it saves me time. With just a few clicks, I can generate a summary of my sales calls, which saves me from having to spend hours transcribing and organizing my notes. This allows me to focus on other important tasks, such as reaching out to potential clients and closing deals.
As a sales manager, I've found that using a sales call summary tool has made it much easier to train new sales reps. The tool's intuitive interface and user-friendly features make it easy for new reps to quickly learn how to use it to analyze their sales calls, identify trends and patterns, and improve their sales approach.
With the help of the sales call summary tool, I'm able to provide new reps with real-world examples of successful sales calls, which helps them understand what works and what doesn't. By sharing summaries of successful calls with the new reps, they can see firsthand how to effectively engage with customers, address their concerns, and ultimately close deals. Ideally the tool wouldn't need to join the call as a separate participant which might make the participant a bit nervous of being recorded. Or if they could opt-out in being recorded but it would still be possible to take notes.
As the tool is still developing rapidly, some work needs to be put in to make the first experience as intuitive as possible. This can easily be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's way easier to use than other tools of this ilk that I've tried. There's something about the UI and general design that just works. It feels less cluttered and noisy than other competitors.
A list of other things I like:
- The bot that joins your calls is called " [your name]'s notetaker" which I like. It takes less explaining to the person you are talking to as to why there is another account on the line. This is in contrast to calling the bot "Wudpecker assistant" or something like that, which I've seen other companies do.
- It's easy to save and use your custom templates
- It's easy to toggle the bot off if you don't want it to join a call
- It's super easy to sync it up with your calendar
- It seamlessly integrates with Hubspot
- It generates AI call summaries that are surprisingly good. I wouldn't use them without some editing, but they can definitely be shared as is in a pinch and someone would get the gist of the call.
- It's easy to playback the call video recording Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it had a Slack integration that would post the notes to a Slack channel. I am sure the team is working on that!
I also wish that there was a simple invite link to share with colleagues.
The call transcript is good but it still contains far more mistakes than a human notetaker would make. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wudpecker allows me to fully focus on one thing: Talking with prospects and customers.
Instead focusing half my energy on taking notes, and the other half on listening, i can now do both, without compromising either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes produces inaccurate notes, and action items that are not actually action items. However, as with any tool, its about using it properly. Used properly, this is not an issue at all Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Helpful to focus on being present on calls rather than taking notes. Reviewing notes after helps get a sense of what was discussed. Helps with sending follow up emails as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's a decent amount of typos, so you need to spend time reviewing the notes before sending it to a customer. Sometimes the speakers get mixed up as well. Some issues with notetaker joining and leaving call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their summary feature breaks down the meeting content nicely. With a bit of editing, I can immediately send it off as a followup. The notes sync to CRM which is a nice touch.
In the beginning, I listened to a bunch of my own meetings and realized a lot of things that I missed. It really helped me improve my own processes. I checked my colleagues recordings as well to learn how they run their meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would be great if the slack integration exists, so the summary are pushed there as well. I know that it’s on the way so looking forward to that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The template feature makes it easy to structure my meetings. My team repurposed the template examples that Wudpecker had into customized ones that fit our purposes. With that, we built a repeatable process for our sales team. Then everything gets synced to our Hubspot, so I don’t have to worry about information being all over the place.
We also use the recordings to onboard new sales reps. For instance our new account executive listens to recordings of our older reps’ sales calls.
The summary was very neat. They used chatgpt so it’s state of the art stuff. I realized quickly that we can use it for our internal calls as well. Now I can get the idea of the whole conversation at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search filter can improve a bit more. Now we are starting to get a lot of meetings in, so a smart search function would really save us some more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Wudpecker we can onboard people faster. This is a great ROI as if we are able to get a new salesperson to produce results a few months earlier our profit margin increases greatly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As you could imagine with everything new there are sometimes things that require testing and learning internally to make sure we take advantage of the features. For example, it took us a while to realize the power of the tool for making sure our new salespeople get supported by the senior salespeople. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wudpecker gives me the ability to see the forest and the tree. Their summary is fire. I get the overview of an hour long meeting in 2 minutes. And if I want to search a specific segment to listen to, I can do just that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I miss a few feature that allowed me to listen to just a specific speaker. They use to have it but I know they are working on bringing it back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wudpecker is super simple to use, and is the solution we didn't know we needed before we started using it. Now it's integral to our business, I can't imagine doing my job without it.
It automatically joins my calls, sits in the background and allows me to be fully present in sales meetings.
It's also a big time saver, with the AI generated summary, transcript and playback helping me craft my notes and share them with the rest of my team afterwards. It can even do it directly to Hubspot.
Wudpecker's perfect for coaching and feedback sessions, as the recordings are easily shared and everyone can watch and understand how a call proceeded. My non-sales founder teams like to say they no longer need Netflix or podcast subscriptions because the commute or workout with my Wudpecker calls instead Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The trascriptions aren't always perfect, but they're close enough, especially in english. I'd give it an 80-90% accuracy rating, and it's simple to listen back to a particluar passage if you're not sure exactly what was said from the script alone.
My Finnish speaking colleagues say it's a little less accurate again there in their language.
Mostly, I just need to adjust my processes to take even more advantage of the Wudpecker tools! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
