The best aspect of WPMU DEV is its outstanding support team. No matter the time of day or the obscure, weird bug or issue I've discovered - even those in plugins not provided by WPMU DEV, their team is always ready to assist and help debug problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To be honest, there aren't any real downsides. Some of the plugins are not quite as advanced as some competitors out there, and occasionally we run into issues with resource management for some of our heavier websites, but it's rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The hosting, tools, design and UX all that is top notch but possibly replaceable. What's better than every other SaaS service hell any other service I have experienced is the customer service. These league of carufully handpicked superheroes has kept me a very loyal customer for the last 8-9 years.
The support team is polite, friendly, give you their time, energy and expertise and it doesnt feel like they are doing it for the money... EVERY one of them feels like they care as if they were working in my company and for my clients. I cant really explain what kind of selection, training and motivation WPMUDEV gives this gang but they have found the golden formula! Thanks so much for everything you all! WPMUDEVs suite of plugins are great. Their hosting service dashboard is clear and has a good UI. But my favorite thing about them is their top-class tech support team. They are highly knowledgable, very nice, and are available very fast at any time. This service is really the best tech support service I've interacted with compared to many other hosting companies out there. I have hosted with Bluehost, Godaddy, HostGator, and several other popular companies, but none can match the top quality of the support agents from WPMUDEV. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To my knowledge, the only limitation with WPMUDEV is that they only host WordPress sites. I could be wrong. However, this isn't a big issue for me since most of the sites I produce are with WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hands down, the support! They have the best support guys available. It's prompt, and they stick with you till the time issues are resolved.
Even when, I have to run and can't stay back. They open up tickets on their own and continue to investigate and rectify.

The glitches!
I've been with them for over a year now, and they've grown, literally. And with increased load, I believe the systems are running into unexpected errors.

The ease of their chat is very valuable in terms of saving time and money. It also helps fix immediate issues. Other issues that don't need immediate attention the ticket service it great and I've noticed turn around time tends to be in less than 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
