I used the chat to explain in some detail the problem I had with a client's mail deliverability. Using the chat the support person spent time analyzing the situation and found that the data I entered was incorrect. He gave me the fix and all went well afterward. The only issue with WPMU is the lack of multi-site hosting, in the sense that you pay per site so much smaller micro sites can't co-exist on the same plan without additional costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love their customer service - it's fast, and they care about fixing your problem! I also love all the products they have to offer - it's a great deal and they all make my life so much easier as a web developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well, let's put it like this, I have been a WPMU Dev subscriber for 9 years now, and that should tell you everything! I have seen WPMU evolve and improve year on year! One of the best things about them is the support! It's not just an email ticket based support, it is LIVE CHAT with an actual human being! Not only that, but the person on the other end of the chat has got the actual skills you need to help you with a problem! They aren't the usually customer support typists! They know what they are talking about! In fact, I've just got off the chat with one of them as I had a CSS issue and they sorted it in minutes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides, this is a difficult one, at the time a few years back when they were going through some major changes they decided to massively scale down the number of plugins they had, which did cause a few headaches, but, you can see why they did it and that the direction they wanted to go in was to make the company resilient for the future.
