I love the performance (speed) of my website after I migrated to WPMU dev because they host the website on a dedicated server per site on the cloud (VPS).

I have tried two other 'lower cost' services which host the sites on shared servers.

There is a night and day difference in the responsiveness (It got so bad earlier that adding pages via wp-admin gave me jitters).

The migration to WPMU dev was smooth. I also love the live chat customer care compared to email-only support from previous hosting providers. My support guy (Jair) was highly trained and patient.

I also love the fact that a bunch of pro plugins is bundled with the hosting plan including security and performance plugins). They are pre-installed so I didn't have to do anything.

Yes, it costs more than 'low-cost' hosts but there are no hidden costs (my previous hosting provider quadrupled the subscription fee after the first year). I am glad that WPMU does not resort to such tactics. They have a month-by-month plan (no annual contract).

Well, it is too early for me to find any cons. I guess there is perhaps scope for revisiting the pricing. Between Lite Bronze plan ($12/month) and Lite Silver ($30/month), there is a huge difference. I switched to WPMU DEV a few years ago from another hosting company. They were amazing in helping me switch over and I didn't have to worry about anything. The plugins are wonderful and I love using them. So simple to use too. I'm still discovering new aspects of plugins they've had for a while and I love it. I also love how anytime I need something new for my website, I can look at their plugins or hosting features and half the time they already have the feature I need. Their support is also AMAZING! I've asked them many questions and each time am treated with kindness. They help me as much as they can or let me know where I can get help if they can't help me any further.
