It is super professional. Meaning, with WPMU dev, you can get plugins for Wordpress, and Hosting... BUT... That is not where they excel THE MOST. Their support is beyond competent and they have tickets, + live chat. They offer support for Wordpress as A WHOLE. Read that again... Not just for their plugins.
We had an issue with some old code or plugin that caused error messages on site. This has nothing to do with their plugins. But, still, when asking for help with support, they are granted access to have a look inside the file manager. And in this particular instance, it took a total of about 60 seconds to fix. One COULD hire outside freelancers to help with this, which could be voting an arm or leg, or maybe even mess up the site. But, WPMU Dev, has got the skills to do this without the need for outside developers from random sites. Their competency is at the top. I humorously call them Wordpress Geeks. And I say it with love. They have hosting and plugins, all super top shelf stuff... But their support is with a massive love for Wordpress, for their customers, and it shines through that they are skillfully equipped to handle the most critical issues with ease. They are THE best support that is. Hands down. And at a low cost. 5 stars don't do them enough justice. They totally rock. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to dislike about their platform or their products. If I NEED to put a finger on something, it could be that I want more plugins from them as their code is pristine and the value from that is something I would love all my plugins to have, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WPMU Dev has a lot of tools to help you both run your WordPress site with ease but also tools to help you see how your website is performing. The Defender plugin helps me know that my website is secure. The back end dashboard gives me a lot of important information about my WordPress site at a glance. I like that I can have a staging site for each WordPress site I have, but I would like it if the staging site was treated more like a regular website. I would like to be able to use staging.mywebsite.com and other things like that that would make it easier to share with external people for their feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
