WPMU Dev is an incredible service. I manage multiple WP websites. This tool dramatically reduced the time needed to manually update the sites. From the dashboard, I can see all of my sites, alerts from real-time scans, manage backups, install and update plugins and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To be honest, I have yet to find anything that I dislike about the product. Perhaps the only thing that I could think of is I tend to use their plugins instead of other devs mostly...I feel like having the majority of my plugins come from the same company is a plus, though. We manage several reasonably complex websites. There are often strange errors that occur that the average user can't fix. WPMU DEV have always been able to identify the problem and fix it very quickly even if the cause of the problem isn't part of their software. In my experience with similar platforms, no one has the knowledge and attitude to get things done as well as WMPU DEV. I contacted support live chat. No queue - a good start. Then the support was superb, friendly, and knowledgable. Anything he wasn't 100% sure about, he asked his colleagues. Answers within minutes, despite it being 11AM GMT, not a good time to contact US-based firms usually. Really, I couldn't fault it. And the migration is being done by their team. No unnecessary jargon, just good and straightforward support.
Their panel (The Hub) and their tools are what brought me to their hosting. This kind of service sells itself - which they know - and because of that there is no hard-selling or paying up front for suck-it-and-see services. You can chat or submit a ticket, but either way their response is fast, and the best part is that if you're having trouble executing their instructions, they can access your site and complete your requests on the spot. The only thing that bothers me about WPMU Dev is The Hub. The design is unique, however its very cluttered. I'd like the option to be able to alter it like gmail has "spaced, normal, compact" as view options for how emails are listed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
