"Extremely high-quality Wordpress hosting for professionals"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

WPEngine makes managing hosting environments for Wordpress both intuitive and user friendly for developers. They have managed to streamline the most important features and tools that get used on a daily basis while still allowing granular control of technical settings, and very high quality customer technical support when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

I do wish there were a lower price point option for sites that don't require a lot of bandwidth or resources to operate. If there were, I would probably use WPEngine for smaller client builds more often, instead of utilizing a smaller, more budget-friendly hosting platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enjoyable experience all the way around"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

The platform is robust and easy to navigate. The functionality is strong and I feel like it is an incredibly strong tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

I wish, strongly, that if a site was created on a legacy version of WP Engine, that you were able to merge it to a new version with all the new functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best in Class Hosting & Support"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

We don't have to worry about our sites and web apps when we host with WPE. Their product performs exceptionally well. It's secure. If we need support, their team is there and ready to help (and they actually know their product). The peace of mind goes a long way. I can't imagine hosting elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Account reps tend to move around or get promoted a lot. It can be fatiguing where we have to start over, relationally. Also, the new reps assigned to us are always eager to connect, learn more, etc. That's great -- except when you have to do it repeatedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The gold standard in managed WordPress hosting"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

The one-click development, staging, and production environments are easy to manage. I also like the Local tool. WP Engine seems to be really invested in the developer experience and trying to improve WordPress development in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

I wish our reps were a little more involved in our agency partnership. I've gotten a few calendar invites from them, only to have them cancel at the last minute. It makes me feel like we're not a big enough partner or something for them to care about us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great service, just be prepared for sales calls"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

I love the 24-hour availability of the chat feature. Almost all of the people I have interacted with there are super helpful. The service is generally very stable and we have extremely low instances of problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Sales calls. I feel like we are constantly pressured to upgrade. I also dislike when the server is moved, and we have to update our DNS, it's a large project for us, so having to do it even on a periodic basis is a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Support and Servers"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

Their team is incredibly responsive and always goes above and beyond to meet our needs. We have been delighted with our experience and highly recommend WP Engine to any business looking for a reliable and supportive web hosting partner. Ease of use and excellent service, and great migration tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

They need to offer email services. It's an expensive hosting, and you need to pay for additional email service with another email vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Client Support is Top Notch"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

The support team at WP Engine is top-notch. They've assisted on multiple projects and are consistently fast, friendly and able to answer questions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

If I had to nitpick, I'd say the ChatBot feature could use some fine-tuning. Still, it has proven helpful on most queries after minimal mining for answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid hosting, solid support."
What do you like best about WP Engine?

The consistent performance from WPengine is true for their uptime, speed, support team, and work they put into innovation and improving their platform. WP engine is always on top of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

The cost would be my number one concern if I were a smaller client. At the agency level, it's a lesser concern. The same rings true for a brochure site vs. an e-commerce site that brings in revenue. But the benefits still outweigh the downside by far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nobody Does It Better"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

I love everything about WP Engine!

Their technology, UI, and support make them deservedly no.1 regarding WordPress hosting. The fact that WP hosting is their only business shows.

I am very familiar with other WP hosts and WP Engine is and will always be my first choice.

I am an affiliate and I know that my referrals will make clients happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

It's a small thing but I don't like the info and alert popups in the UI. That was added about 2 years ago and it is annoying and not necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
