The UI is very intuitive and easy to use and supports SFTP, FTP and other protocols. It also has a drag and drop interface for easily sendingand receiving files from a web server. I really appreciate how it doesn't automatically time-out after a few minutes because even doing web development and code writing, I am constantly making changes as uploading to serve and switching back and forth between software. The easiness of use. No doubt about the ease of use of WinSCP. The file transfer is just drag and drop like normal windows and can be done from one server to another. We can save the sessions, including passwords, this saves us a lot of time in logging in each and every time. The only issue with WinSCP is that shell commands do not work in this. And also it is not available for linux and mac. And in a rare occasion while copying file, the encoding changed from UTF-8 to another. This had caused me a lot of problems as this cannot be seen at the time, but only caught while processing. Winscp is secured in terms of uploading/downloading files instead of using regular FTP connection. With WinSCP I can just drag and drop files I wanted to upload and download.
