GUI is always very much user friendly.

Sometime file is not getting refreshed automatically even if those file updated on either machine(Windows or Linux) so, you have to make refresh before coping those files

The software layout is easy to use for everyone. It is easy to install and connect to remote system. I use it mostly for data transfer from my Windows computer to a remote server. WinSCPs features are almost boundless, but the parts I could not live without are:
1) The ability to open a putty session from the file SFTP/SSH session.

4) Synchronized browsing (navigating local and remote directory structures simultaneously).
5) Filer synchronization with configurable preview.
6) Optionally recursive permissions setting.
7) Active development brings new features, improved protocols and security updates.
8) Local editing of remote files with on-save upload (live editing).
9) Slug based folder navigation and folder history.
10) Remote server to second remote server file synchronization.
11) Copy file/folder names with or without paths.
12) Segregated session logging.
13) Configurable Powershell commands and macros for file and folder manipuation.

I had to dig deep to find something I didn't like, but the calculate directory size context menu doesn't take advantage of the underlying SSH capabilities, and it can take a while to scan every path sequentially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WinSCP is helpful in many ways to download, upload, provide permissions to the file(s) or folder(s). Also, we can open the file to view content and it is the most secure and fastest way to access the server directories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
