What do users say?

Generated using AI from real user reviews
Users consistently praise Windfall for its accurate wealth data and exceptional customer service, which enhance their fundraising strategies and donor engagement. The platform's seamless integration with existing CRMs and its ability to provide actionable insights are frequently highlighted as key benefits. However, some users note that it primarily focuses on individuals with a net worth of $1 million or more, which may limit broader outreach opportunities.

"Super Customer Service and a great Product!"
5/5
What do you like best about Windfall?

Ease of use, accuracy of information, super customer service, quick answers to questions, many useful resources such as case studies, webinars, user guides, I could go on and on! Also have to mention that Kyle, Eric, and Marissa are oustanding collaborative partners, knowledgeable mentors, and all-around great people! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

Windfall is not an "automatic" system - you can't just look up somesone and get an answer immediately. It's a submission process and Windfall takes the time to give you verified and accurate information. As the primary contact and primary user, I understand the system, but that is something that others have trouble understanding. The only other downside is that you get so spoiled with the great information provided, there is a bit of disappointment when a match isn't returned (although that is completely understandable!) "Great screening tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Windfall?

Windfall has been great at quickly and easily providing massive screens of our supporters to append helpful information to help us identify prospects within our existing supporter lists. It's not nearly as expensive as similar products and has enabled us to get info directly into our database (this took a little effort on our end, but no in a prohibitive way). We run screens monthly and their customer support has been stellar if any issues have ever come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

I do wish there was a direct sync with our CRM, but it's not dealbreaker for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Windfall offers a multitude of data points for research specialists to utilize in confirming wealth/capacity for their prospective donors. It's a fabulous tool for those in prospect research/development and offers many options for analysis and detailed perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

As with all research and analysis tools, not everything can be uncovered via data mining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windfall is an exceptional partner"
5/5
What do you like best about Windfall?

We started using Windfall for wealth screening in the late 2010's, and they have quickly become one of our most trusted vendors. We've found that Windfall offers a high degree of accuracy, insightful triggers, excellent customer service, and a partnership unlike other vendors. Through our experience, we've expanded our services from Windfall to tackle other solutions (including career intelligence and propensity data). Windfall has been especially accommodating to our organization's needs and feedback (desired product tweaks/expansion, data quality concerns/insights, customization (where appliccable)). They are always listening and improving based on customer feedback, further demonstrating their committment to the highest level of service and partnership.

Another added benefit worth mentioning is that Windfall is a subscription-based company, meaning that they do not charge per record, so we're able to screen our entire database each time. Regular full database screenings have led to better insights overall since we're able to measure results consistently on the same population. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

There's not much to dislike! As a few others have mentioned, households (parents + adult children) are sometimes grouped together, but Windfall is transparent about their processes and considerations customers should have in mind when using the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

I dislike that, as a nonprofit, we can't afford to add on all of the available features and data points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windfall Vendor Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Windfall?

Windfall has been a great vendor to partner with on Wealth Screenings. I have found that their wealth estimates are accurate/reasonable for the most part. We do extensive verification and I have been pleased with the results, particularly in expanding our understanding of who may hold $20M or more in estimated net worth. I like the simplicty of the data and the excellent customer service we recieve. It is not a stand-alone research tool so we suppliment other providers for verification but my confidence in WF's data is high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windfall?

Windfall requires other data providers to screen individuals for specific assets, however, we were aware of this from the beginning. Therefore, Windfall is likely not a turn-key solution for other shops and may be pricey as it does not eliminate other tools. Additionally, researchers should be aware that false positives are possible based upon children at parents' address and other considerations. We have developed processes to ensure our data is clean and accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization is fortunate to have long term, loyal supporters and we have been able to prioritize outreach with the help of Windfall's data. It was easy to implement and start using. Their customer support is outstanding - I always get a quick reply. We upload monthly, but use the data in our day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
