I really like that the program sends me an email when my shifts have been updated/posted for the next week. I also like that it shows me other shifts that are available for picking up if I ever have to time to pickup some more shifts. It’s super easy and clear to read everything, whether it’s when I’m working, how many hours I’m working a week, or when I could possibly pickup shifts. This program works very well with mobile devices too, so that’s very nice and handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that sometimes the shift trade board looks a little jumbled up and crowded, making it a little hard to read sometimes. However, this only happens when a large amount of shifts are on the trade board, which doesn’t usually occur for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite aspect of When to Work is the ease of use. It is very logical how to do each thing through both the online website and the app. As a manager and scheduler, I like that I can save templates of schedules that I repeatedly make and that I can autofill those shifts without much thought. The ability to check schedules both online and on your phone is useful in that it provides a variety of ways to easily access ones schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only complaint with When to Work is that lately not all shifts have been showing up on a person's schedule when using the app in only certain "views". A shift will show up on a computer and in some phone views, but not on the home page or upcoming shifts page. When I'e communicated this with When to Work support they tell me that this happens because the app has not refreshed. However this doesn't make sense, becuase no updates have been made recently when this occurs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WhenToWork is great! I can separate my student workers by area they work, schedule them however far in advance I want, send out messages to select groups or everyone at once, and so much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could select multiple shifts to delete at once, instead of having to do it one at a time or delete the whole schedule. I also with there was a drag and drop option for moving shifts. It'd make it so much easier than having to go in and manually change the beginning and end times. I would also love if WhenToWork could create something that allows students to use the program to clock in and out. This would cut out a lot of extra work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The schedules are easy to read when they are posted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little complicated to import new schedules from templates or previous weeks. When you scheduled hours or number of shifts from week to week change it is a little more cumbersome to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is great and my entire work staff loves it. It’s also great and very easy for team to request time off or switch shifts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app can be better. I rather use it through safari or google chrome than the app. Their customer service team can also vary from very helpful associates to very rude and incompetent associates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are colors, red, green, and pink, to indicate preferences of when you do/don’t want to work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None that I can think of. I like all of its features/qualities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to navigate. It allows you to look at the schedule, request for days off, look at other people's schedule, reach out to others for coverage, and etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The weekly preferences can be tedious but it is still very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

W2W has a lot of different options when it comes to scheduling. From a visual perspective, you can see the schedules from a day, weekly, or monthly view. You also have the option to see everyone scheduled at once, or make it more of a personal schedule. It has neat features like setting preferences for work times in addition to the regular availability. You are able to see all staff info as well as trade shifts. There is a mobile app that works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The look of the software is outdated and the trading/messaging process could be a bit smoother. The mobile application did not always notify me when I had a new trade to approve or a new message waiting. Additionally, some of the tools in the preference category are difficult to use and could stand to be revamped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It works well without much management. Reports are good and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface doesn't look that good. The website is kind of outdated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Employees can set their availability in 15 minute time increments for every day of the week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a lot of deleted employees and it take a very long time to load them if we need to restore one. Also, it is frustrating that you can not delete multiple employees from the program at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
