We are in the early stages of migrating our process documentation to Whale, and it has been a great experience. Our Customer Service Manager has been great a walking us through the process and helping to get our initial documents migrated to Whale. The editor is a little limited. I would love for Whale to be able to retain some of the basic formatting from Work or a PDF. We also utilize EOS and would like to see more integration with the EOS tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whale allows you to have everything in one centralised place which additional features to make sure documentation is current and up to date, the Ask An Expert feature is fantastic to continue knowledge being added. The interface is clean compared to other competitors which makes it welcoming and friendly to use out of the box. The Chrome Extension allows me to access key documentation on any page within my web browser. The support and on-boarding at Whale has been fantastic from Stijn and the team. There are some formatting limitations with the editor when compared to something like Notion and a lack of integration to internal communication tools (like Slack), but the team are aware of this and is constantly seeking to improve the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Whale, you have an easily accessible location for your information storage.
You can sort different information quickly by using separate sections, groups and manuals.

I'm not too fond of horizontal scrolling when you get more than five groups in a specific section; this could be solved by showing fewer manuals underneath each other and placing the extra groups in another row. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whale is excellent no matter what stage of process documentation a company is in. They make it easy to document processes and even easier for employees to follow them. With the browser extension, you can access all of your business processes no matter where you do your work (email, CRM, ticketing system, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the editor is reasonably robust, it does not play well with Microsoft Word. The formatting does not carry over well to or from Whale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a very process-oriented firm and came to Whale with hundreds of process documents already created. Whale is helping us optimize and go to the next level!
We find Whale easy and intuitive to set up, navigate, and use, and the customer support has been AMAZING. Even though, we are still onboarding—and so do not yet have our final structure in place—we can already find ANY process document within a few seconds (using Whale's handy search feature).
Finally, Stino is a delight to work with. Our firm did the Success Services package (where Whale does the migration for you—recommended), so Stino and I have been in regular contact over a series of meetings plus emails. The Whale team is very responsive, encouraging, and knowledgeable—and Stino has kept things both moving along and fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Almost nothing! The few things that have come up for us (such as a wish to integrate with Dropbox), Stino has assured us are already on the Developers' "feedback wall." We anticipate seeing continued new features and upgrades as Whale grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software itself is going to be a game changer for our team, and within the first week, we have already seen how much more the information is being used and accessed. Our goal at the beginning was to make our company processes as accessible to everyone at all times, and it is clearly working already. Besides the software itself, Stino, our Success Manager, was amazing. Always available for questions, flexible with our last minute changes, and just a pleasure to work with. I haven't found anything specific that I dislike within the platform yet. There have been a few small things that I wish I could have done (add users myself, or reinstate a deleted board), but I talked those through with Stino, and he said they are already on the road map being worked on, which is great news! Beyond their exceptional customer service (I love Stijn and Gary), they have a fantastic onboarding. The platform is easy to use and even easier to keep up to date. I love their search features, the widget (you can search and find without leaving your current window) and the automations. It's a great platform for holding "legacy resources" and truth. They are wildly open to new suggestions -- like new quiz feature which tests for understanding and it will come in December-ish but I wanted that yesterday... I wish I could upgrade to more seats without having to send an email? I wish there were more color options, or custome hex code colors?
