The security is top notch. You can share files to another person without waiting for even a bit. Its free version does not require any signing up or registration. Just login to the website and upload files. The entire process is not even 2 minutes long. There is even the Mac, iOS and Android application which is quite easy and simple to use. Also, a major point! There are no ads while using even the free version Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the Upgraded version (We Transfer Plus) is a bit expensive priced at $12 / month. This can be a bit of a major cost for a small company. Also, the uploading of large files require a strong connection or else it will fail and you will have to start all over again Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WeTransfer allows me to send large files across the internet with incredible ease, for free! One of my favorite aspects of WeTransfer is that no login or accounts are required for basic usage. However, it should be noted that there is a paid version of WeTransfer that does require a login in order to access premium features. The free version limit of 2GB is more than enough for most average needs though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no notable complaints that I have about WeTransfer. Any feature limitations, such as the transfer size limit, are generally solved by using their premium service. One drawback that free users should be aware of is that the download link generated for your files is only valid for one week. After which, the link will expire and your files will be deleted from their download server. This has never been a problem for me (if your link does expire you can always just resend to your recipient), but for those looking for a storage solution this is again solved by upgrading to their professional service. WeTransfer doesn't require an account to use so deliverables can be sent to anyone with an email address. Can send files up to 2GB in size for free, much larger than most emails allow. It doesn't upload to a personal cloud of yours (like google drive or dropbox) and take up space. It remains downloadable for a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cannot make a free account even for low usage. It would be nice to be able to have an account and see the history of sent and received files (and if/when they were downloaded), even if it remained a 2GB cap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The edge to edge beautiful images and artwork displayed in the background along with the minimalistic layout of buttons make it a pleasant experience for both me and my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The upload limit is disappointing for the free account, but I understand why they have it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What’s great is that in a pinch, you are able to send over any files that you may have to send to a client, or receive it from a client. Download the files without it taking up space in the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can only transfer up to 2GB for free, then you would need to pay to transfer more than that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it can easily pass along larger files is very helpful for a deadline-packed world we work in. Those hard to handle videos and graphics are now a cinch, allowing today's media and marketing agencies a better way to collaborate with editing and quality control. To get the best use out of this product at the end of the day, you really do need the paid version. But we have that, so I'm not complaining too much about it. That said, a warning to startups lacking scope for such things: if you don't have it, can't afford it or don't tend to work with large scale files that often, you're likely to be better off just emailing smaller files to people, as simple email attachments will accommodate that size and scope just as efficiently. Ergo, WeTransfer free version would be useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We Transfer is an excellent option when it comes to sending data. You can transfer data in no time with this excellent tool in any format, in addition to enjoying an excellent multicolored interface that makes your experience even more fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only bad thing I find about this tool is the time in which your files expire for downloading. There are opportunities where you don't have enough time to download the files you receive, so we recommend downloading your files once you know you have received them via mail. When using WeTransfer, you don't even have to log in to send a file. It makes it so much easier especially when sending larger files to people who may not know how to use dropbox or how to log in or anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The home page is a little tricky to navigate but once you figure out how to download the file it works fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WeTransfer is really easy to use and really pratical to send big size files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about WeTransfer, this application always helping me and I never had any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can add multiple files to send to my recipient. All I have to do is add my email, the recipient's email and then attach my files. 3 simple steps and click send. Yes, Its THAT simple. The upgraded version is even cheap to use in my opinion. The free version allows 2 GB of files that can be sent. WeTransfer Plus allows to send up to 20 GB. That too at an easy cost of $12 / month which I think is quite reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have ha a few problems of using WeTransfer in my phone. It has crashed a lot of times and it gets annoying later on Other than this, no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
