I am from another country and now living in the US. I recorded a song here in the US but wanted it mixed by my maudii engineer in Jamaica. We first tried to send the files via email but the format was way too bulky to upload quickly. Then my audio engineer said he remembered checking out an app called WeTransfer. He suggested we both download and use the app. So we did and we have been using the app since to transfer music files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only problem I have with WeTransfer right now is the gloominess of their ads. They can get a little too weird. Lighten them up please! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoyed the easy to use format, along with the quick uploads and clean interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I disliked was it often copied the same pictures which took up more storage than needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to use WeTransfer. I can sign up and start transferring files within minutes. The user interface is very simple and straightforward. There is big text with clear instructions on the website. We can upload large files that we normally wouldn't be able to do through email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that there aren't more extensive sharing options or ways to collaborate on documents and store them online in a folder. I also don't like that the shared file links expire in a relatively short amount of time. Even if I downloaded the files already, it'd be nice to be able to access the files again online from the same place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love being able to share files at anytime/anywhere with my coworkers and clients. It is a good price and a nice amount of storage. Plus I can send family members photos very easily without signing in, because the free service is very convenient as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love sharing files, but why does there always need to be a limit? I need like a good terabyte or 2 of space for film work and sharing it with coworkers, clients, etc. and having to constantly export files at sightly lesser qualities or just meeting in person can be inconvenient for everyone involved--especially if you are located in a different city, state, or country! I like WeTransfer's simplicity and its ability to notify me when a recipient downloads a file. Whenever I need to send a file or group of files that is too large for an email attachment, WeTransfer lets me do it in about the same amount of time it would take me to send an email. I don't have to sign up with a bunch of information and navigate through many screens. Though upload times depend on your internet connection speed, WeTransfer does a good job at maximizing the upload speed. The download process is very easy for the recipient. They just click a link in an email sent to them from WeTransfer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though I like the simplicity of WeTransfer, I dislike that there aren't more advanced collaboration tools available. Even with the upgraded plans, WeTransfer doesn't allow us to do much more than share files. I would like to be able to access stored files with the capability of editing them others that I share the files with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really appreciate how simple and straightforward it is to use WeTransfer. Though I'm relatively capable of using most file transfer software, being able to have someone else use the software is very important when I need them to send me files that are too large for email. Instructing others to use WeTransfer is very easy and only requires a few steps. We just need to enter a few pieces of information to send a file. I also like that the user interface is somewhat modern and fun, yet still professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WeTransfer isn't very good for file collaborations and online file management. It would be great if WeTransfer had the option of storing files online for later access and editing. Also, there are times when I or my recipients are unable to download WeTransfer files right away and the download link would expire, which means the files would have to be sent again. That can be annoying at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WeTransfer lets you share files as soon as you load their website. You don't need to sign up or log into an account. You just enter a your email address and the recipient's email address and you're good to go. The upgraded plans, which allow you to send more files, is also very streamlined and not expensive by most company standards. Downloading files is very simple for the recipient. They just click a link in an email from WeTransfer and go right to the download page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think I don't always want the sender to know if and when I download a file, so for privacy reasons, it would be nice if WeTransfer provided a check box or something to opt out of notifying the sender of my download. It's really not a big deal, but it's usually good to have options like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WeTransfer is a no fuss file sharing service that allows us to share files within minutes. The design of their website is very basic (in a good way) and doesn't require much information from the user to get started. The sharing process only takes a few clicks. Downloading your shared files is easily done by the receiver by just clicking a link in an email. I like that the sender is notified when the receiver downloads the file. I think the pricing for the premium plans is a bit high. I feel like they should be able to offer more space for those prices. It would also be nice to have more organizational and collaboration features in the WT account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is free for up to 2 gig. If you have more to send it will cost more, but is still reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Have a restriction so sometimes you have to do it multiple times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
