Some items make it through to be translated that should not be, e.g., translating spanish to spanish if a hybrid solution is implemented within the project. There should be some sort of language detection and prevention of translating a language that is the same as the target language. It's also hard to track down which url route a translation has taken place. Even through you can click on the routes in the Translation list and see what has been translated, it only makes the process more tedious. Instead, it would be nice to see the route as part of the meta-data right there in the entry when viewing the tranlation list as a whole, as this is how I often use the list. When I've had issues or questions with their platform, their support team replies quickly with helpful and thorough answers and suggestions. The Weglot platform does a great job translating text and offers other features, such as a glossary and manual editing, among other things. It's also pretty easy to set up. Some of their pricing tiers are not ideal. For example, if you are on the Pro plan at $87/month and go a few words over the limit, the next tier is the Advanced plan at $329/month. Price is general fine for this level of support and functionality. What I don't like too much is a restriction for number of languages, which can be used on your internet site. Actually, it is fine for most of the users, but for us with the app for learning language, it is quite important to have more languages on the site rather than number of translate words. The automatic translations take basically no context about your app into account and so are very inaccurate. They fared better on longer sections of text (paragraphs) than on CTAs, labels and the like.

We decided to relaunch our website using Weglot and have not been disappointed. Previously, we had to update the French and English separately, but Weglot allows us to update the English with automated French translations. We have set up our translators on Weglot so they can review the quality of the automatic translations, and overall it does a great job. It also allows us to easily exclude automatic translations for pages that require more of a manual process.
