Top Rated Weavy Alternatives

Everything is customizable and easy to adapt to our own companies needs without having a predefined chat experience from an sdk.
The implementation was easy and straightforward without any complications as we integrated it into our application.
The staff from weavy was very helpful and helped us in every step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation could be a little more refined and if the staff wouldn´t have been so helpful, the implementation would have been way more complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Weavy is a whole package when it comes to features such as Chat, Feeds and Files.
The documentation is on point and pretty easy to understand.
The best thing is Weavy provides support even if you are still in their free account and that level of hand holding definitely helps fast track and ease the development and integration process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There nothing much really. But some areas of improvement would be in terms on the Notifications for P2P chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a company that mediates customers, we had the need for a reliable chat system. So we started to go with the Weavy chat functionality, including the UI kit for the web. It's straightforward to implement, seamlessly integrating into our broker platform to facilitate customer communication. The customer support is top - we consistently receive prompt and helpful responses. Weavy's versatility is very good, making it applicable across various domains. Also the pricing model of Weavy with monthly engaged users is fair in comparison to other chat systems, where every active user is billed. Additionally, they're responsive to customer requests, often incorporating them into the software when feasible, enhancing the user experience. Our customers are using Weavy for a daily base as communion tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the downside, the documentation is somewhat brief, which can make implementation a bit challenging. Also, the lack of an SDK for Android and iOS limits Weavy's usability on mobile platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Weavy is pretty chep compared to other chat platforms
- the UI for chats and messengers is nice and customizable
- setting up Weavy is straightforward
- supports lots of JS-framworks
- great, fast and powerfull API
- Integration with AI
- webhooks work seamlessly
And not to forget, they also provide great customer support and also nice suggestions in Discord. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Weavy's documentation can be confusing and occasionally inaccurate, especially regarding features like there's no uid' in the conversations, etc...
- the distinction between chats, apps, messengers, and conversations is unclear, making it challenging to understand their intended use
- no user-roles-management to control actions like creating new chats or adding users to apps.
- storage usage seems disproportionate to message volume. Clearer information on storage calculations would be helpful
- no out-of the-box support for multiple languages
- It's not possible to change the organization name on invoices.
It would be nice of you to provide several real-world-usecase examples for how to use Weavy with all those apps and features you provide and how the work together. Many things I haven't tried out yet, like Posts and Files, but they might be a great fit for the user's project. Maybe also some demos for those usecases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the versitility of their products - they are quite flexible (with numerous features) especially with the ability to customize the functionality to your particular needs. The guys at Weavy are actively developing and fixing things and they feedback seriously into consideration.
Their customer support is great! I've had several calls and chats with them about different problems I've been having with my integration and they are always quick in replying and have been really helpful.
The product can be easy to implement/integarte (even with just a few lines of code) and use, which of course depends on what you're looking to build, but the support is always there for guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the API lacks detailed documentation and for simple queries I often have to turn to the support.
Some of the terminoligy to distinguish between things is a bit hard to graps and differentiate (apps, conversations, messages) and what is best used in different scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support was really great when things wouldnt work while embedding into application. Works well once set up, super easy to use. Nick was super great as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They went through a lot of changes with the packages and documentation as I was trying to implement a new solution to get rid of some of the previous errors. some of the things did not work or were not documented well but the support always came back and helped out. So my integration was not super easy and took longer than necessary. But its all good now. Also the overseas developers made it harder to get immediate feedback Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were looking into adding community features such as chat and feeds to our portal to support our clients - and working with Weavy is just incredibly fast and takes almost no resources from our small team.
The components are well designed - from backend to frontend - so there were minimal customizations needed. Easy to implement and the Weavy team are always available to help with questions. Perfect fit for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike, to be honest - were some lacking pieces in the documentation regarding the authentication workflow, but their team was super responsive, and we got it sorted ASAP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Weavy is very start-up friendly. Enough good documentation and support team is responsive.
Pricing is also something we have consider while building our first MVP. Weaxy supports that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We would like to see some more capabilities/functionality in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Weavy has truly simplified the process. Their turnkey solution provided my company with a comprehensive set of tools that seamlessly integrated into our application. The ease of implementation was surprising – within a fraction of the time it would have taken to develop these features in-house, we had robust instant messaging up and running. Our users were able to communicate effortlessly, enhancing the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike, to be honest - communication could be improved and their overall documentation accessibility , but their team has been and continues to be responsive when questions are posed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My business runs on a tight budget and Weavy was a godsend for us. We’re spread out all over the United States, and in the past it was a huge challenge to make sure that we were organized as one unit. We needed something allowed file sharing across different cloud storage options, we wanted to be able to share updates, something that had the ability for fast deployment with customization, and most of all is easy to use (several of our team members are neurodivergent, and we rejected several other platforms because the UI was difficult to navigate. Weavy’s is great!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation is sometimes difficult to follow and it would be nice if we didn’t have to have a basis in CSS to do a lot of the customization, but those drawbacks pale in comparison to how much it has allowed us to shift our focus away from our own productivity, to actually serving customers. Weavy is super easy to use from the get go. We needed the ability to add a chat function to our app, and were able to leverage Weavy to complete this quickly. This was a huge departure from the experience we had previously had with Sendbird, and because utilizing Weavy was so simple, the product team was able to focus on other core features that required attention. With only a bit of work, we were able to customize the chat the way we needed to, and when we needed assistance, we had a very responsive support team. The Zoom integration to send meeting links in the chat is especially great, and has simplified our process greatly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though easy to implement, the documentation is sometimes lacking and the customization we needed did require understanding of CSS. Having expanded documentation would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
