Viva Insights helps increase my productivity by providing insights into work patterns, identifying best times for focusin and meetings. It also helps me with my well-being by suggesting mindfulness exercises and ideal times for breaks. The things I dislike about Viva Insights are the overemphasis on data and metrics. At times, it's unhelpful to see productivity and peak performance times without considering the qualitative aspects of work, such as creativity, innovation, or quality of output. I most appreciate the ability to reflect on how well my plan for the week was accomplished. Shorter interruptions to focus time and more organized meetings reinforce that my plan is working. Some of the user inputs could be a little more flexible. Setting a consistent time to reflect may work for some people, but the variability of my day to day schedule means some of my personal reflections are missed because I was unable to use the notification. I am terrible about blocking off time for getting caught up. Viva blocks off focus time so I can't get my catch up time scheduled over. It helps me predict my habits to stay on task. What I liked most about Microsoft Viva Insights is the idea of a new type of service, which promotes combating worker fatigue throughout the workday. This tool allows you to better manage your time and give more or less importance to certain daily tasks such as Teams meetings. If I'm not mistaken, this idea comes from Productivity Score Tool, a tool that was not very successful. The use of this tool is not complex, you will simply have to explore and test each section a bit to assess its usefulness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although the utility is not complex and only requires dedicating some time to understand its use, the majority of users (non-admins) do not know the tool, are not very sure where to access it from, and only recognize it as the tool that sends them X daily emails showing their usage with Microsoft applications, Zoom, and other compatible tools. In my opinion, the biggest disadvantage is having to make the tool known to users and encourage them to use it.
