If you want to track any webpage for updates/changes evern if the changes are minor or huge you can rely upon Visual Ping. You can decide how often you want to be notified for the changes. I have been using it for quite sometime without any hiccup so for. Highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike but probably would request them to have a feature to integrate it with the messaing services like Whatsapp, Discord or Messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visualping has an easy enough to use basic UI for when you just want to set something up quickly, but also offers more advanced options when you really want to narrow in and avoid false positives.
I haven't used any of the actions but they look like they are really strong too.
it alows for keyword alerts, which is what I mostly use. I've used it for monitoring my personal website, as well as other websites to see if things become availible ( e.g. camping, or reservations ) With some simple setup you can get it to notify your phone or email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took some configuring to get visualping not to notify me again when my keywords were removed from a page. e.g. nexus reservation, I had a location ID entered, and when It was on the page I wanted to be notified. I would get a followup notification a few hours later when it had dropped off as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can enter different webpages that I want to monitor and get a notification as soon as there is a change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The content of the "free account" was reduced over time, so for more intensive monitoring, a subscription is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visualping has many different options to alert you of changes to just about any website you wish to monitor. Just set it and forget it. You'll get emails and/or alerts when the changes take place. It even allows you to rate how well it did with detecting the change so that it can adjust moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the websites I have used it on are dynamic maps and sometimes the wait x amount of seconds function isn't the greatest, which will trigger a false change on the map it is monitoring. It just requires some adjustments to your settings but it is the only issue I've had thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not need to keep checking the same website every day to see if there has been some change. Instead, thanks to Visualping, I am automatically notified any time there is a change to the website I am interested in following. Huge time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not aware of any downsides. I have been satisfied with the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visualping was very intuitive to use. I work for a regulated entity and my role requires me to be quickly updated on regulatory changes that may affect my organisation and industry. Having a website monitoring tool is therefore really helpful. I have used a few other similar tools in my line of work and I find Visualping among the most straightforward to set up and get going, without need for extensive training materials. There is also a free pricing tier, which is great if you want to try it out, or do not need the bells and whistles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure if this is a limitation only for the free tier, but you do have to log in to your Visualping account at least once every 3 months to keep it active. Visualping does send a reminder 3 days prior to that, but I've occasionally had my monitoring paused because I neglected to log in within the period. To be fair, it was easy to reactivate (just needed to login), and hey, I rarely log in to my account because there's really no need to since the monitoring runs smoothly. My company uses VisualPing to monitor the press release pages of our competitors' websites so that whenever they publish anything, we find out about it very quickly but do not have to concern ourselves with the overhead of manually checking for updates. The nicest thing about using VisualPing for this purpose is that it does not require a great depth of technical knowledge to set up. Setting up rules to listen for changes is very intuitive and anyone can do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we get alerts about cosmetic changes to websites. This is to be expected given how VisualPing works, but it is not ideal. Fortunately, it does not happen very often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very reliable and also makes it easy to figure out immediately what changed, with both the visual & text-based diffs. It's also super easy to set up - all you need to do is just plug in a URL and how often it should check. I use it for a bunch of websites that I don't expect to change that often, but when they do change I really want to know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, really! It really gets the job done for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can configure the sensitivity of the alert notifications. The dataset that I need to refer to changes daily, with a "date last changed" field at the bottom of the web page. I don't need to be notified of every time the web page changes, only when significant changes are made - and the interface allows you to adjust your sensitivity for notifications. None that I am aware of. The service functions as intended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were considering developing a solution to monitor external sites for changes, but decided to trial Visualping instead. This turned out to be the right choice, as Visualping is easy to configure, and its accuracy is impressive. We have been using it for almost a year and in that time we have never missed an update to our monitored sites.
When alerted for changes, the slider comparision interface makes it easy to spot the differences between the old version of the page and new. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visualping can detect both visual and text changes to a page, but if the same information appears on a page in a different order, it will still trigger a change. This is not generally an issue for our use cases, and we would prefer a few false positives to missed changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
