I've been using Visualping for many years, likely close to a decade. I need to do occasional website tracking, and having tried a few alternatives, Visualping still came across as the most reliable. It simply works.
As a student, the free plans were sufficient for our needs for occasional checks on websites. As a working adult, the paid plans, are useful for mission-critical applications where I need checks on shorter intervals. The prices are also generally value for money for the corresponding features.
Ultimately, the website wins on ease of use. The settings are easy to understand and configure. Recently added AI summaries of changes are very accurate and useful as well.
I would find it hard to trust another provider for critical website checks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything negative about Visualping, but I do trust the developers will continue to bring up the competition as they have evolved and improved over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been using Visualping for a while now, and it's proven to be a highly effective tool for monitoring the buinsess websites that we use for our software updates. It highlights the exact changes that were detected. The side-by-side comparison images make it simple to spot even minor updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it would stop automaticallly tracking a site even though i have it set to track automatcially every day until I manually update it. If there's any downside, it's that the free version can be a bit limited in the number of checks you can perform, so upgrading to a paid plan might be necessary for frequent monitoring. I'm most impressed with Visual ping's ease of setup. I can quickly configure a few websites to monitor for specific changes and receive immediate notifications when those events occur. Even better, Visualping offers a free tier, making it highly accessible for experimentation. Apart from that, the AI summaries of the changed content are very nice, as those save quite a lot of time. I'm not a fan of the some limitations of the free tier. While email notifications work, I need to upgrade to a paid tier to receive notifications via Slack or Discord. Moreover, the absence of support for other platforms like Telegram is disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fast alerts and option for text notifications. Easy to create, suspend, and resume jobs for different sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the CONCEPT and layout is great, the main issue is that this software simply doesn't work for approximately 75% of the web pages I want to use it on. High false alarm rates for restocks of OOS items, and it won't work with any site that uses bots (ie., the "captcha" or "verify you are human" tests).
Walmart? Nope. Target? No. PokemonCenter? Sorry that's an no-go. Costco? Nope.
The only site of interest I have gotten this to work well on is BestBuy.com. Yet for a subcription that costs around $300/year or more, this simply isn't anywhere near worth it. That being said, if VisualPing could actually figure out their stuff and get the software to do what it's supposed to, then this app would be amazing. Until then though... I absolutely love the ability to monitor changes to web pages.
One of my favorite is monitoring changes to our home and business tax records. if there are are any changes, we know within minutes, not until it might too late.
Setting up is very easy and it is basically set and forget.
Additional insight I wish to share with business owners. After another year of use, we have saved over 310 man hours! What a human use to do, Visual Ping has replaced those actions and does it just as well. Money we can put back into our business! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really have not found any down sides. There are some false positives from time to time, but not many. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that their product is easy to use and the setup only took 2min.
I also like the accuracy of the visual ping I get. It accurately detects even the smallest changes on the website and alerts me. The checks can happen in as low as every 15 min which is great.
The changes are not just for changes in text but also images. This is incredible. I have applied to jobs and booked tickets earlier than others since I knew about the changes on the job website or event website before others could find out about them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Love the product. I would want more websites to be offered to put alerts on in the free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Visualping for 2 years now and I'm absolutely hooked! It's an incredibly useful tool for anyone who needs to stay up-to-date on website changes.
I love how easy it is to set up and use. The interface is intuitive, and you can start monitoring websites in just a few clicks. The alerts are timely and accurate, and I appreciate the option to customize the frequency and type of notifications.
One of the features I find most valuable is the ability to track specific elements on a page. This allows me to focus on the information that matters most to me, without being inundated with irrelevant changes.
Overall, I highly recommend Visualping to anyone who wants to save time and stay informed about the websites they care about. It's a game-changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Higher subscriptions are a bit expensive, but so far I've made do with the Starter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It offers a wide range of options, enabling you to customize each check to your specific needs. For instance, you can set it to compare either text changes on a page or visual changes only. Our team finds the daily automated checks to be extremely beneficial. If any changes are detected based on your criteria, you receive an email notification containing sufficient information to help you decide whether further investigation is necessary. In this respect, we believe it provides excellent value for money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One major drawback is that you'd need to create separate checks for the same page if you want it to be tested for both desktop and mobile screen sizes. In most cases, we want all pages to be tested for both viewports, which means we have to use twice the credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly - you simply enter the URL you want to monitor and select the specific area of the webpage you wish to track3. The visual comparison feature is particularly impressive, allowing you to see exactly what has changed through color-coded screenshots Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
more credits in free planI would like the free plan to have more credits by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visualping has been an exceptional tool for my needs. The software is incredibly easy to use and configure, allowing me to set up multiple alerts with ease. Implementation was straightforward, and I encountered no issues that required assistance from their support team, which speaks volumes about the software's intuitive design.
I initially used Visualping to track new deals on various websites and monitor changes in inventory, and it has performed flawlessly in both cases. The ability to keep track of multiple alerts over time has been invaluable, ensuring I never miss an important update. Overall, Visualping has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for monitoring web content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
