It is very simple and effective to use. It is not buggy, it just works! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I see no downsides with visualping, i recommend it to friends and family often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool is one I keep finding uses for outside the usual. I use it for watching competitors when they update their sites, watching pages like ToS for changes, watching for changes from the marketing team so I can be informed when a new campaign happens, and watching internal status pages for errors. The list keeps going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As more websites start implementing robot checks, I've noticed Visualping is struggling to ping sites that require you to confirm you're not a robot. Then, it becomes a manual check.
I would also like a way to group pings into folders/buckets for easier management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I recently had the pleasure of utilizing Visual Ping's suite of tools for competitive intelligence, and I must say, it has been nothing short of a game-changer for our business.

From competitor analysis to market trends, the tools offer a comprehensive set of features that cater to every aspect of competitive intelligence. What sets Visual Ping apart is their commitment to providing real-time insights, ensuring that our team is always equipped with the latest information to make informed decisions. Occasional false positive when elements shift on a page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the way you can decide % of change to get alerts for, and the option to measure change by the way the website appears visually. I feel this is unique over the competition. I like that you are pre-warned when you're tracking too many sites, or too many times a day to remain in the "free zone". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was transferred to this service from an original site that I would assume VP bought out. I feel like the original Tracker was more flexible, would send more results more often, and would allow for digests. All without charging for every niggling thing they did. VP limits everything that was free or nominal before, so unless you're using it to *MAKE* money, those limitations will annoy you tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a lot of tools out there for staying on top of important updates -- RSS, newsletters, Google Alerts, and so forth. But a lot of the time, they simply aren't available, or take too long to notify, or don't include all updates. Both in my previous experience at large corporations, and in my current role running several websites, Visualping has been essential in keeping track of sudden changes in the competitive landscape -- whether new information updates about companies and their products, new publications by niche experts, and even pricing changes. The main downside is that sometimes I get false alerts, like when a page adds or removes a temporary header that shifts the content vertically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visualping is very easy to setup and use for varying types of website monitoring. Our organization uses Visualping to track nearly 50 state and national government webpages for regulatory documentation updates and additions, which helps ensure we are the first to know, and no longer subject to the normal delay and associated risk of waiting for official communication. Customer support has been very responsive to help accomodate our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visualping does not allow us to break-out recipient groups (i.e. email distros) within a given workspace. This forces us to manage multiple workspaces with similar foci, in order to ensure appropriate recipient lists and reduce noise, based on specific roles and expertise. As a new, small business owner I find it very easy to use Visualping and it is very user friendly. I've started using it for monitoring my competitors or other folks in my industry to see the frequency of content they post and the alerts from VP help me stay current on this. None so far to be honest as it does what its intended and supposed to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool is exactly what I'm looking for. I need a service that can check websites of interest and report to me when a specific element on that page changes. All I have to do is spend some time setting it up once and it does the rest for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little bit difficult to set up and use. It's difficult to select the exact element on the page I want it to check for. It also doesn't work as well as I was hoping. Even though I selected a specific element on a page, it still notifies me when anything else on that page changes instead of just that specific element. If this could be fixed, this tool would be perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've utilized Visualping in several capacities and it's such an easy setup to use. Working in the event space, I would want to know when calls for vendors or presenters became available and Visualping has saved me from having to chase those down. Similarly, as a job seeker, I've used it to keep track of openings at other companies - I've even used it to keep track of when jobs are listed at my own company to stay up to date! Because it's a set and forget situation, there are times I could be reminded of the tool more often. Like quarterly email reviewing what I have setup and some other use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to set up a monitor on a specific site or portion of a page or even just a specific HTML element. This has been crucial for keeping tabs on competitor sites for updates to their content but also has helped us catch display errors or issues on our own sites.
We get alerts for any content on other industry sites so we can keep up with latest offerings and campaigns our competitors are featuring.
For our own sites it's been a life-saver as a basic uptime monitor can't catch if just a form or a single element has an erorr but Visualping does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Visualping will be too sensitive. It will catch changes that don't apply to what we're monitoring. Luckily you can narrow the scope of each monitor to a specific element or keyword so you can refine to reduce false positives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
