What do you like best about Vertice?

What stands out most about Vertice is how it brings procurement orchestration, SaaS spend management, and purchasing into a single, streamlined workflow. Instead of juggling multiple tools and manual processes, we’re able to manage vendor requests, approvals, and renewals in one place, which has significantly improved efficiency and visibility across the business.

The Vertice team has been very hands-on, responsive, and knowledgeable, which made implementation smooth and continues to add value as we scale our processes. There’s also a growing layer of intelligence in how they surface insights around spend and optimization opportunities, which has been an added bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vertice?

While the overall experience has been very positive, there are a few areas where Vertice could continue to improve as the platform matures.

In terms of integrations, while the core functionality fits well within our existing finance and procurement stack, there is still some reliance on manual inputs or workarounds in certain areas. Expanding native integrations and improving data synchronisation would further reduce operational overhead and make the experience more seamless end-to-end.

On the SaaS spend management side, the visibility is strong, but the analytics and reporting layer could be more advanced. For example, deeper insights, more configurable dashboards, and enhanced forecasting capabilities would help drive even more strategic decision-making and ROI tracking. What do you like best about Vertice?

I really value the service and the attentiveness to our vendor contract timelines, as well as the dedicated procurement team that consistently finds real savings in the market and drives meaningful ROI to our company’s bottom line. What do you dislike about Vertice?

One area I’d really like to see covered is how Vertice negotiated the contracts to reach the final end state. Specifically, what was leveraged during the negotiations, how it was leveraged, and what drove the outcome. About half of my renewal workload falls below the Vertice threshold, so Vertice ends up adding an additional workflow. While I can add my self-negotiated vendors to the dashboard, it still requires more process overhead than I need. What do you like best about Vertice?

Over the past two years, Vertice has been a key partner for us, consistently delivering cost savings of around 13% on average and taking care of SaaS negotiations end to end.

Beyond the savings, they’ve helped us keep a much more organized SaaS stack and gain better visibility into what we have and when renewals are coming up. The platform itself is useful for tracking total spend and savings breakdowns, and the benchmarking data is especially valuable when evaluating vendors and negotiating contracts.

The platform has been improving significantly, which makes the whole process of SaaS management convenient and straightforward.

They are highly supportive and proactive, taking ownership of renewals and making themselves available whenever meetings or input are needed. The relationship is close and collaborative, they came to meet us in person, which was a really nice touch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I find most challenging is the initial heavy lifting required to centralize all historical contracts. While the platform is powerful, the 'data hygiene' phase — mapping every invoice from NetSuite and uploading legacy PDFs — was more time-consuming than expected for a lean finance team.
