My client needed to do accessibility for their website as they have received a notice to comply. I contacted Userway for a demo, and Hayley has been with us every step of the way. We have set up and account for multiple websites and it is easy to install widgets on your wordpress sites. Kudos to Hayley and her support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We find userway to be expensive for Canadian clients due to poor exchange rates, especially for smaller projects or smaller businesses with tight budgets. I do set up the free version in the meantime, though it does come with some limitations on key features. The free version at least does acknowledge that you are serious in setting up accessibility to your website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UserWay has the most features compared to other accessibility widgets and its the easiest one to use, the feature that I use the most are the Smart Contrast and Bigger text, they work exceptionally well!
Also, the customer support is great, I've had a little issue where the translation feature was not working correctly and the support team helped me fix it in easy to follow steps, overall a great experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I haven't found any downsides to UserWay, everything works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UserWay makes it very easy to integrate and customize this tool with WordPress websites.
Their support team is stuffed with people that are very knowledgeable with coding and websites. If the immediate chat support is unable to help, we've always had issues resolved by the next day.
Our account representative is extremely responsive and helpful. Every agency has a client or two that needs some sort of exception and that's where the representative comes in and saves the day.
UserWay is feature rich and works reliably. It's a quality solution that we can confidently offer to our clients to solve their accessibility concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes UserWay breaks when your website uses performance improvement plugins for caching, code minification, etc. (WP Rocket, for example). For this, it is important to exclude the UserWay script from being optimized.
Sometimes other scripts can also conflict with UserWay, causing it to malfunction, show inaccurate colors, or just not show up at all. However, the UserWay support team has always been quick to help us identify and resolve these issues! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It simplifies accessibility compliance and makes it easy to create a better user experience for everyone. Adding it to our site at Rena Ware USA was straightforward, and the tools are very effective. Their team also provides excellent support whenever needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a bit pricey, especially for smaller projects or businesses with tight budgets. For those companies, I’d recommend using the free version, though it does come with some limitations on key features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been searching for an accessibility plugin for my Framer site and today I came across another site with what I needed. I saw that it was by UserWay and found the free version. I immediately installed it as in an Embed section, thinking this was the right way. It didn't work. I could only find instructions for how to install on other platforms not Framer. That's where the customer help came in handy and Mark who helped me was super quick to respond and his instructions were very clear. It was then up and running in a few minutes. Very quick and so happy that people can now arrive on my site and adjust the settings to fit their needs. I've used it once on my site and now I'm wanting to install it on every client's website now and use it for client projects. Very easy too integrate on my site. Ticks all the boxes. Nothing apart from the fact it's revealed some issues I need to sort. I guess the balance is how much you adapt your website for things like increased text sizes, but that's on me to think about from a UX perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The endless customization options available in the widget plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance on our clients websites. Our clients are always thrilled with the convinience and ease of use from the Userway widget. It's the perfect solutuon to cater to disabled consumers. The value of making their website accessible to all consumers is unmesearuable and provides great peace of mind for each of our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Wordpress plugin that comes with UserWay can be a little buggy from time to time. Sometimes our customization settings will reset back to the default ones if we set up the widget using the WordPress plugin. We have never had any issues setting up the Widget from within our Userway account dashboard though. I would definitely recommend not using the plugin and simply adding the embed code if you are a WordPress user for garaunteed reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software automatically does what web designers used to pay thousands of dollars to have done. Even taking time to diligently do all of the things (like alt image descriptions) during construction, we could only get to a 75% score. In a few hours the Pro widget had already increased it to 98%, in the backgroud.
It is very easy to implement and set up. It integrates nicely with the website and doesn't break anything (I tried a different plugin that broke my course pages). They even write the accessbility statement for you. And tech support is first rate! Quick response on a saturday morning! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The report lists things that need to be fixed, but not instructions on how to fix them. However, the report changes over time as AI continues to fix most of those things in the background, so it would only be an issue if AI couldn't fix something. And I know the excellent tech support would help me with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UserWay is pretty simple to set up. I had a few hiccups based on my own unfamiliarity with accessibility plugins on WordPress. But once I got past that, it was seamless. The best thing I can say about UserWay is their tech support chat feature. Companies always say, "We're here 24/7 for you," but these folks always respond to me within a few minutes and answer my questions directly and with links for more information. I can't ask for anything more than that. UserWay also has a ton of features -- some of which I will probably never use -- but I like that they seem to have thought of everything to make integration easier. The only dislike I have is that there seem to be a lot of times when I have to upgrade to access features. I'd prefer it if there was something like a "personal plan" and a "business plan" and I can pay the higher fee for business and then have access to all the options. I had to purchase three separate upgrades overall which was not the end of the world, but also not convenient, especially when I have to get all expenses approved by our accounting department. I was stuck on an issue transfering a website that used Userway from a client's old developer to my account. There seemed no way I could edit the button because the Userway plugin had injected code that I was struggling to remove. Thankfully Mark, from Userway helped me. He went out of his way to make sure everything was working just how I hoped. A very competant support tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just can't afford the pro package. If I was in a position to afford the pro package then I would jumo at the opportunity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had a technical issue with placing my Userway AI Widget on pages that were built in html streaming from a document library. The online chat not only solved my problem but waited while I validated the fix they suggested. I additionally contacted UserWay Support about an issue we were seeing with the Safari browser where the widget was conflicting with the loading of page content. The UserWay Support team contacted me to say: We have applied some major changes regarding on widget's remediation performance on the page when it's loaded using Safari. And just like that, my problem was fixed! Above and beyond my expectations.
This was just awesome customer service. UserWay is very easy to work with, knowledgeable about their product. They often will provide suggestions for how we can improve accessibility, create accessibility statements, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like everything about working with UserWay. They solve problems and are really committed to both serving their customers and making their product better for the users who need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
