Started to use it at work and loved how it was easier to use than Adobe Acrobat. It is more user-friendly too. We have been using this product since it was called PDF Converter. Very easy to mass install on client computers by creating a custom installer with all the settings for our environment. I think the best feature is to convert a PDF to Word, etc, then you can edit, then save as a new PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally have not found anything i did not like about the product. I am sure other people have found things they do not like about it or cannot do. I know of one person that couldn't do something in PowerPDF, but was able to do it in Adobe Acrobat, so that person has both programs installed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to edit docs with Nuance Power PDF application. I also like how easy it is to separate pages into different documents or to reorder. I used regular adobe pdf before but I feel that this is more user friendly and lets me do more things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like is that it takes a little bit of time to fully figure out how to use Nuance. A lot of what I figured out I could do was by trial and error or clicking around. I haven't been able to figure out how to make a new stamp that is custom to what I need. It only has templates and things that don't work for what I use Nuance for. It's amazingly great to do basic things like signing a pdf with image signature, convert to Word 2007, edit in place, extract images, create pdf from existing files or from the internet, between others. I use windows 10 and this program works perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite feature is the ability to reassemble the document, remove pages or add pages from different pdf files, and rotate only selected pages to display proper orientation. I also like that I am able to search the file using the function control-f. If for some reason the text is not recognized, I can click a button to make the pdf searchable via text recognition which is a very fast process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my line of work, I often have to annotate pdf files to provide details of work perform as I am auditing transactions. Compared to Adobe Pro, there are a limited number of fonts available and various other annotation features are also limited. I think for the cost of the product compared to Adobe pro, it gets the job done, its just not always quite as aesthetically pleasing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
