We used Primary Intelligence to gain insights into the decision-making of our buyers (both wins and losses) for multiple solutions across multiple continents. Our goal was to find ways to improve our win rates either by modifying our products or changing the way we presented our solutions to buyers. The people at Primary Intelligence are excellent on all fronts. They are very easy to work with and they really know how to gather and report meaningful insights. Their methodology made it very easy for us; we just had to provide a list of opportunities and contacts and they did the rest. Their reporting tools are outstanding! We were able to access and analyze qualitative and carefully-categorized quantitative data on a rich web portal (TruVoice). We could easily filter by solution or region to find patterns. And we could drill down to verbatim detail and call recordings with just a click. We could even listen to a pertinent snippet of a buyer interview without wading through the whole recording. There is nothing as valuable as the actual "voice of the buyer." The same portal was also available from within Salesforce, which made it easy for Sales personnel to get to it.
On the process side, the TruVoice portal also provided updated stats on the number of buyers contacted and response rates so that we knew the progress of the project at all times. We also learned that having our sellers do an introduction of Primary Intelligence to our buyers significantly increased response rates.
I attended the Primary Intelligence customer conference and got A LOT out of it. Numerous Primary Intelligence employees were there from admins to analysts up to the CEO and they were extremely engaged in helpful. I like the automated email surveys that go to Won and Lost deals. Keeps a steady flow of fresh data flowing into our Win/Loss analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy to use their website is. Coming from a big company, we have so many brands. TruVoice allows us to filter out easily and to find the exact reasons each brand or sector is winning and losing. The very best part about working with this organization is the people at Corporate Visions. We love our team, Renee Manning and Ryan Cuellar, so much that they have become apart of our work family. Not necessarily a downside, but extra effort is required when looking at periodic custom reports. They help with a lot of industries, so the custom report outputs require back and forth with their team to make sure the points being made are relevant for our company / industry. We are using Primary Intel to understand better what our clients are really looking from us when they invite for any deals. Analysis done by PI team is really helpful in that regard. Getting direct client prespective is really helpful. Their Truvoice platform analysed the responses and present them in various meaningful ways for us to consume. Primary Intelligence partners with its clients to ensure their needs are met. They take a very hands-on approach toward ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, Primary Intelligence consultants do an outstanding job in their phone interviews by asking probing questions to understand buyer needs, thereby uncovering actionable insights that allow our product, sales, CS, and other internal teams to make necessary updates and changes to our product, technology, or sales processes. Primary Intelligence is incredibly responsive in meeting our needs.
Primary Intelligence also offers an online portal that allows us to see buyer insights, both deeply (via profiles of specific opportunities) and broadly (through aggregate analysis). Moreover, we can tag and filter results so that we can evaluate buyer feedback by specific markets and segments.
One of the best things about using an online tool such as Primary Intelligence is that information is constantly being updated. For example, saved filters will auto-update, which means we're always seeing the latest information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Primary Intelligence interface is a bit dated, however, they are taking steps to update their user interface.
Since Primary Intelligence's acquisition by Corporate Visions, there has been a greater focus on Sales-related feedback. While this makes sense, given Corporate Visions' focus on Sales enablement and training, my hope is that this focus does not become lop-sided.
