What do you like best about Transifex?

I recently had the opportunity to work in integrating Transifex into our team's CI/CD and workflows, and I have to say that I am impressed with its performance. The tool has greatly improved our team's ability to add new localized tests quickly and efficiently, thanks to its ease of use and streamlined approach.

In the past, adding new localized texts was a time-consuming process that required a lot of effort from our team. However, since the integration of this tool into our workflows, the process has become much simpler and more convenient. We can now complete these tasks in a fraction of the time it used to take, freeing up valuable resources for other important tasks.

One of the things I appreciate most about this tool is how seamlessly it has been integrated into our team's existing workflows. It has become an integral part of our development process, making it easier to maintain and update the tool in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Transifex?

To be honest, I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Transifex. I have had an incredible experience with Transifex, and I cannot find any faults with it. Its features, ease of use, and overall functionality have exceeded my expectations, and I have found it to be an invaluable tool that has greatly improved my productivity (to the point we bearly remember having this integration at times). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use this to implement localization for our platform. The main benefit we have had after integrating to transifex is that we now just write the text in the original language (EN) and we forget about the rest. Our integration with transifex will make sure that the localization for all the other languages we want to support will be there as soon as available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Transifex?

The interface is clean and it is easy to get onboard with it. Also I really appreciate the translation memory and suggestions since sometimes it is easy to forget whether you translated something similar, or just for the sake of coherence on key terms along the translations. Recently we had to contact support and the attention and service provided was professional and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Transifex?

I cannot think of anything I dislike about Transifex Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transifex is helping to keep all our translations localized under the same tool. Before using it we used to exchange Excel files between translators and developers. Transifex creates a user friendly environment for translators to jump into any new string uploaded by developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Transifex?

- Many options for translation engines: DeepL, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, ...etc.

- Transifex Live allows us to efficiently check translated content in context; we can see the translated content on actual web page views and edit it if necessary.

- Transifex Glossary can apply for machine translations ensuring translation consistency

- Transifex Editor allows us to update multiple sentences using search and replace.

- Easy integration with ReadMe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Transifex?

- Web pages that do not exist are also registered in "Pages"; this makes it difficult to find pages that need to be checked. Web pages that return 404 or 500 errors should not be registered in Pages. It would also be helpful if "Pages" could sort by registration date, number of strings pending approval.

- There is no way to undo "approve strings": if you accidentally approve a bunch of strings, it'll be hard to delete them. Even strings that are unnecessary to translate because they do not appear on the web page will consume the word count included in the licence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Timely localization of English user guides into Japanese with fewer resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Transifex?

Their Zendesk integration saves so much of my project coordination time. I get to focus on preparing the content to be sent out to translation rather than doing manual copy and pasting. They are also making great progress pertaining to AI within the translation workflow.

I would recommend their Project Management tool if you're using Transifex from a vendor perspective (more so than from a client), it's great to assign tasks and track progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Transifex?

The Translation memory function of Transifex (especially when using the Zendesk integration) is a bit challenging as it doesn't parse HTML content. This adds time to my coordination time as I have to go through the strings one by one to ensure the automatic fill-up didn't miss any TM matches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Seamless integration with our Help Centers on Zendesk. It automatically syncs the content from Zendesk and once the translation is complete, the content is sent directly back to Zendesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Transifex?

Very easy and intuitive way to get the translations we want and we always get it very quickly in a matter of a couple of days. Also, pretty easy to set up scripts to automate this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Transifex?

Some times I think ti bugs out with some translations (the ones that will need to have variables in them) and will need to manually change the variables to the ones used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are english based team but our app is being used in many countries around the world and we needed a tool that would provide translations for all those countries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
