Transifex is a great software that managing localization for software developers . As far as its functionality, I considered this software as an popular source code repositories. The best feature that i think would be good for developers is the ability to edit and localize patches that they need to release.. Also It can be used as a standalone system for managing string catalogs as well as use with other continuous integration systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would have to say team management UI need some work. It s so clustered and it takes some time to get used to it. As an developer i can get used to it but some time its hard and time consuming when i tried to find a certain button Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a great way to split concerns between product and development. It removes the need for a code update for translations and tweaking the copy on a website in general. Integrating it was easy, there was an implementation library for whatever application is consuming it - in our case an SPA.
The interface on the website itself is nice to use, with great search functionality and signposting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We realised the hard way that once a language as been uploaded with a specific lang code - this cannot be edited. Only deleted and reuploaded. This led to some headaches once we realised we'd added an inconsistency in the codes. It would be good to have the ability to edit instead of replace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All languages are found in a single view. Back and forth between locales is seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Longer strings cause Transifex to crash, and it is difficult to understand how to use different integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transifex makes it very simple to manage translations for many languages. The platform is easy to use, and it helps our team keep all the translations organized in one place. The ability to collaborate with others and track progress is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, the user interface can be a bit slow, and it takes some time to load big projects. Other than that, it works great most of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jesse,
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that your support team has been amazing and responsive. Your team's help and support is much appreciated and we would not be able to leverage your systems without the integration support provided.
The two issues that we brought forward were resolved with the utmost professionalism providing code refactor suggestions. Your team went over and beyond in understanding our issues and questions. The team gave a timely and detailed suggestions which helped unblock our team to move to production and communicated the timelines throughout.
It is very helpful that your support team has product and specific developer support.
Best, Matt

So far the technology offering and integration process has been great. Our team at times has said that developer tools could have been more helpful and likely we could have used developer training before beggining development. We have yet to complete a full translation review beyond machine translation and have gotten feedback that the translations are out of context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Transifex is its intuitive user interface. The platform offers helpful options such as find and replace, as well as the ability to rerun machine translation, which significantly streamlines the translation process. Easy to use and straighforward. I translate 3 to 4 languages to I love being able to switch seamlessly between all of them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the sometimes helpful glossary feature. However, it can sometimes interfere with machine translation if terms are not added with all relevant components, such as case sensitivity, nouns, and verbs. Ideally, AI should simplify this process, but currently, it's a bit tedious. Due to this, I sometimes find myself deleting glossary terms to avoid complications. Transifex is easy to use and implement into our software. Their customer support was also helpful when troubleshooting issues with translations that we've encountered in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This can be mitigated by the rise of AI with Transifex, but since it's run by volunteers, some languages can be slower to translate than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transifex simplifies the localization process with its intuitive interface and robust set of features, including translation memory, glossary management, and API integrations. It’s particularly great for managing large-scale projects with distributed teams, as it ensures consistent translations and smooth collaboration. The platform’s automation capabilities, like syncing with repositories, save a lot of time for development teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Transifex is feature-rich, the pricing structure can feel steep for smaller teams or startups. Additionally, the UI could benefit from some modernization and improved performance, especially when handling large projects or bulk operations. A more customizable dashboard for better project tracking would also enhance the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how Transifex provides a user-friendly platform for managing and translating content into multiple languages. Its integration with version control and content management systems is seamless, allowing us to quickly sync and deploy translations. The ability to invite translators and manage workflows within a single platform is invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing can be steep for smaller teams or projects with fewer translation needs. Additionally, while the platform offers extensive features, the learning curve for non-technical users can be a bit high at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is very user friendly and easy to navigate, and the customer service is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The TM doesn't always show similar results, and also many times it doesn't auto fill the translations although it can be seen as "100%" or "101" in the TM suggestion screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is nice and works good
The integrations with CI/CD and pipelines are nice, easy and effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the UI/UX could improve easily. One of the most annoying things for me is the search bar within a project. It's often counter intuitive especially if you need to be quick when doing things. Also, sometimes the latest language in which you have edited a project is not saved, so you need to select it every time you open it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
