What do you like best about Totango?

- centralizing data from different sources is the primary value add

- features like Rapid Insight Forms make data collection powerful

- setting up data is a bit cumbersome. was surprised that we needed to build so many integration jobs to pull in data from different SFDC objects

- UI feels clunky at times trying to find source segments

- Segmenting customers based off of data sourced from SFDC and our own platform data

- building helpful nudges and tasks for our CSMs; CSMs have a somewhat better line of sight into all of the customer engagement activity

What do you like best about Totango?

Many of our steps in the onboarding, from signing the forms to the creation of their internal accounts as well as email reminders, have been automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Totango?

Totango is a powerful tool, with a vast list of tools you can use and customize for your company. It seems complex at first but with a great Onboarding experience it turns super easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Totango?

The onboarding stage was long (almost 2 months), until we had the end user training. Also, the platform is only set in English, so it might be an issue for non-english speakers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Totango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our company is growing fast, and our way to manage customers started to be unscalable (Docs, Spreadsheets, etc). Totango offered us a tool to manage customers that allow us to have all the information in the same format and in the same place. It also makes customer handovers between team members easier. And it helps us to keep track of our customer health and other metrics easily and automatically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Totango?

I love having automated campaigns and internal tasks relating to the CX journey in one place. The advantage to them in Totango versus other platforms is the ability to trigger them from several different custom attributes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Totango?

I will hit a blocker from time to time and then see that it is usually on the CX wishlist. WOuld love for these blockers to clear up quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Totango?

Automations and the possibility to segment customers. The entire tool is designed to create automated or manual success campaigns which can help to deal with a vast number of contacts from your database Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Totango?

I would add more courses/training paths. The tool is powerful but on the other hand, it can take a while before you discover the full potential of Totango. Maybe Totango customer success team could do more about that :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automation of reach outs - especially if you want to target low revenue-generating or freemium customers. On the other hand, it helps to track the effectiveness of all actions and automates Customer Success Manager activities. Complexity with configuration, and not enough help with onboarding. We requested to import data, which stalled. We have not heard back on this status from our CSM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
