Our Success Team uses Totango & though our Support Teams utilize Zendesk we do need to pop into Totango for account level information and continue to work towards utilizing API integrations to link the two Systems & Teams for seamless support of customer's success and enabling the team to be well informed of account health, contacts, touchpoints etc. Totango is also very easy to use and doesn't require a ton of training. The Support has been awesome as well when any questions did occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Totango is fairly user friendly for tracking customer health, logging touchpoints, and getting high level data about each customer. I also like that each product or entitlement is listed separately for a customer so you can be organized in logging everything under he correct product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be daunting to learn the deeper ins and outs of the platform. Specifically, SuccessBLOCS and Success Plays. There is a lot of automation that can be done, but it is confusing to learn at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Totango to create marketing campaigns for customers and it's super easy to learn and create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The filters are limited sometimes. There's no possibility to create multiple emails in one campaign which would be super useful instead of create multiple single-email campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not that intuitive, you have to learn where to find the information you need. Also, a little glitchy. Every 5 or so times I open the website, I need to reload. Not a big deal, it just takes a second, but it is annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SuccessBLOCS are a good idea. Packaging everything you need to meet an objective reduces the implementation time.
It gets messy quickly though. Using SuccesBLOCS leads to duplicated segments and difficulty in finding where a specific automation lives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many things just didn't work as described during the sales process:
- No automatic email integration. The integrationrequires manual intervention for every email sent
- Hubspot automation. Incredibly difficult to implement and limited in functionality

Customizable success plays are my favorite thing to use and create. Staying on top of a book of business of 100+ clients can get tricky, so automating reminders when something happens with the client's health score keeps me very proactive. Segments keep me on top of my metrics and allow me to maintain an organized folder with all the information I need. Totango was easy to learn and very user friendly. The data from the mobile app differs from the data in the web version of Totango; sometimes when in the field I wonder if I'm getting the most accurate and up-to-date information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- customer segmentation and targetting helps to send correct campaigns to correct people

- the campaign tool shows errors and blocks the campaign activation so it is required to do it from the scratch
- the campaign errors aren't explaining where the error is so you spend lots of time on trying to find what's the error which builds up the frustration
- the help Knowledge Bse page isn't the best
- our onboarding buddy was fired and we didn't get any buddy replacement nor further support but we were asked to pay for the support while being in the onboarding period Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
