If I have to choose something I like about Top Producer, it would be that it automatically calculated dates and set up task lists to keep me on track. However, that is hardly reason to keep the program. I can calculate the dates myself and use Outlook Tasks to keep myself on track just as easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is just a "clunky" program. It needs to be streamlined. The customer service is the absolute WORST. They rope you into a year long contract, and they do NOT budge. Our situation was this: Our team lead had an account, which was the "primary" account. Then he added another realtor on his team, and we added that realtor as a "secondary". We were paying the monthly fee for each subscription. The primary's contract was up in March, the secondary wasn't up until July. The secondary agent left our team in January, so we attempted to cancel his subscription, but they said no. So we waited and called back after March and asked to cancel 1 because our first subscription was up in March. They refused because that was the primary account, and we couldn't cancel it because there was a secondary. And we couldn't cancel the secondary because of the contract. So finally, I told them to cancel both, we don't want Top Producer anymore. They are refusing to cancel our accounts. I told them they don't have permission to charge my credit card. They still refused.
Buyer beware! The programs is NOT worth the headaches, especially since it is extremely underwhelming. If it really made my life that much easier, I'd stick with it, but I was able to create something similar using Microsoft Access, without paying $80/month and dealing with terrible customer service reps. Keeps you in touch with your network without lifting a finger. This means people come to me to get their homes sold or when they're looking to buy even sometimes when I forgot I had automated touchpoints being sent periodically to them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What is to dislike??? Maybe more drop down menus for more than one mobile number or an easier way to close out a transaction without making a ficticious number of a client you are not working with (I know that was being addressed) MLS#'s search that are outside of your board, because we have several in MI. There is a lot that I dislike about TopProducer. I do not think that it is very useful when you are first starting and I think it is a giant waste of money. The biggest reason that I am disappointed is that they do not let you out of your contract, which you are locked in for $60/month for 12 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Top Producer for 25+ years. You can capture leads, stay organized, manage the database, and follow up automatically w/emails and letters effectively. My MLS didn't fully integrate with TP so I had to cancel my Market Snapshot, as it wasn't doing what I wished for it to do. I like the interconnection. Manage listings connecting the listing parties. With one click, I can email one or more listing parties at the same time.
