Tines has proven to be an invaluable tool for building and enhancing our SOAR and SOC capabilities. The platform has played a pivotal role in helping us achieve our vision of a 24/7 SOC, ensuring that security alerts are streamlined and no critical notifications are missed. By automating tedious, manual tasks, Tines allows our team to focus on more strategic efforts, significantly improving our overall productivity and operational efficiency.
Another standout feature of Tines is its rapid pace of innovation. The platform frequently introduces new features, indicating that it is actively evolving in response to user needs. This dynamic development reassures confidence that Tines is heading in the right direction.
Equally impressive is the customer support provided by Tines. Their team is highly responsive, quick to resolve issues, and proactive about addressing bugs. This level of support has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Tines provides an excellent suite of automation building blocks, users are required to create their own structures or playbooks from scratch. This can be daunting for teams without a well-defined strategy.
The reporting functionality also leaves room for improvement. Current reports focus heavily on metrics like time saved, but they lack depth when it comes to tracking cases or outcomes—a feature that would be highly beneficial for monitoring operational impact more comprehensively.
Lastly, although Tines markets itself as being well-suited for MSSP models, this functionality feels underdeveloped and incomplete. While it may be a promising area of future growth, it’s not yet robust enough to fully meet the needs of MSSPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tines has given us the power to turn those "what if's" into reality. The logical workflow makes it easy for beginners to immedietly start building, and when we've run into roadblocks the team at Tines has been super responsive. The use case library is a great open-source catelog of not only ideas but fully functioning stories that we've used as a brainstorming resource for our own organization. We really enjoy how creative and nimble Tines allows us to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great if there was a bit more admin level logging in Reporting, such as AI credit counts, recent changes, story count, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tines is uniquely designed to enable teams of any skill level and job function to develop insanely fast. It removes essentially all of the tedious parts of development, allowing users to focus on the process they're seeking to automate rather than boring things like scheduling job runs and handling errors. It truly levels the playing field between seasoned developers and the technically curious, and I believe it is a force multiplier for any organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The key difference in using Tines as opposed to many other automation solutions is that it has no concept of integrations. If you want to use Tines to interact with another service, you have to configure the connection yourself. With that said, Tines is able to connect to ANYTHING with an API without any other dependencies on third parties, and they have several dozen out-of-the-box templates to make connecting to other apps a breeze. Tines is by far the best low/no-code automation platform I've used. Compared to other solutions, its versatility and power are unmatched. While there’s a learning curve due to the vast number of features, the excellent documentation makes it easy to discover new functionalities.
Tines’ pre-built templates and story library are incredibly helpful for getting started. Once you're familiar with how it works, creating custom workflows becomes straightforward. The ability to track time saved through automation is a great way to demonstrate ROI, and it’s a huge advantage to be able to collaborate with other team members on automation without needing coding skills. The range of options available in the platform allows you to automate even the most complex workflows with ease.
Overall, Tines is a game changer for SOAR automation. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, easy to use solution and amazing support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no dislikes about Tines overall, one area for enhancement would be the Change Control process. If multiple people are working on changes within a story, it would be really useful to have the ability to approve changes on a per user basis and have a easier view of the changes. It makes automation of any kind of task very easy. We use it for many tasks, from simple alerting and cronjobs to complex flows that require multiple tools with data parsing in between. It makes sending and receiving web requests very accessible for any kind of service you use. It only needs an api target and the automation can start running. The documentation is very helpful with examples and prebuilt flows you can start from. Their support is eager to help no matter how trivial your problem may be. They release features faster than they get documentented! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tines has made it easy to automate tasks to ensure they are done in reliable and repeatable ways with simple API integrations. I have used Tines to automate countless tasks from enriching information to eliminating manual ticketing processes. Tines allows me to ensure that people are doing valuable work. The thing that makes Tines unique is its community mindset, and the desire of that community to share ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I frankly can't think of anything I dislike about Tines because I have not yet found something that I could not automate with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Tines is their support team. They are always incredibly helpful and, most importantly, fast. I even had a Zoom call with them once to solve a specific issue, and that level of personalized support really enhances the overall experience with the tool. When I first started using Tines, I interacted with their support team daily, and they consistently provided quick, accurate solutions. They not only resolved the issues but also ensured I fully understood how to implement the solution, which is something I greatly appreciated.
Another major advantage of Tines is that it allows you to accomplish a lot of work with minimal technical knowledge. Although I have a background in computer science, my experience with other tools has shown me that Tines is much simpler and more effective. It enables me to automate complex workflows without needing extensive coding skills, which is a huge benefit for professionals at all levels. The combination of simplicity and efficiency makes Tines one of my favorite tools, if not my absolute favorite, for automating processes in my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the things I dislike about Tines is that when working with run script events, I really miss having a more advanced integrated development environment (IDE). I understand that Tines is not intended to function as a traditional development tool, but having a more robust script editor would be very helpful when building more complex workflows. Features like autocomplete, more advanced syntax highlighting, or better error handling could significantly enhance the experience of writing and debugging code directly within the platform.
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the interface occasionally freezes, requiring a page refresh for changes to be reflected. While this isn’t a major issue, it can be confusing at times, as it seems like changes aren’t being saved or applied properly. Improving the interface’s stability would help avoid these minor, yet frustrating, disruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extremely easy to use UI enables us to onboard Junior Analysts more effectively, and ensure that they can impact existing complex workflows without the requirement of advanced automation knowledge!
Additionally, the rollout time for new features is unparalleled. I dont know of another vendor that provides revolutionary platform updates at the same rate as the Tines Team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I can recall. From a technical perspective, I can mold the platform into creating whatever use-case I want. The customer support and experience teams are fantastic at making my ideas come to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

By far the best thing about Tines is the team. Our Acoount Managers are extremely knowledgable, timely, and supportive. While the system offers almost too much functionality, support has been amazing and we have never not been able to find a solution. Most times, I am introduced to an easier or better way then what I was previously thinking
Secondly, I truly enjoy the company's attitude around progress. They are constantly making the prodcuct better, whether its adding new templates or usability features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of a learning curve using the platform. While its super powerful, and there is a ton you can do, it can be difficult to tap into all of that without diving deep into the system. You are truly the bottleneck to your experience, and can be frustrating at times when trying to create something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been using Tines for quite some time. Before Tines, we had a very complex open-source project that we customized to fit our needs. However, the management, knowledge, and resources required were problematic. Bugs were tough to trace, data wasn't easy to munge, and it just wasn't easy to visualize.
With Tines, we were able to migrate everything into a beautiful Tines actions that are very easy to understand and follow. The best part is we can quickly and easily extend functionality much quicker than before. And with the built in Live/Test Change Control feature, it's been flawless in testing our workflows before we push them to production.
Not to mention, their customer teams are amazing and top notch! They have always been friendly, welcoming and supportive!
Everything is well documented with multiple samples/examples, not to mention the Tines Story Library! That's a wealth of information.
All in all, we're with Tines for the long haul and I'm glad we are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside to using Tines is that you want to try and find a way to automate everything through Tines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
