Top Rated Time Tracker by eBillity Alternatives
Ease of use. I choose to make appointments in Outlook, then adjust the time when it becomes firm. Then a few clicks in Outlook sends it to eBillity for review. Approve the billings and sync to QuickBooks. Time Tracker saves me hours over my previous method. And if you're interested, there are ample ways in which to analyze the data. I have only had a couple of issues, which were resolved quickly by the tech or programmers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use. Keep accurate tracking. Easy direction. Quick correction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really haven't found anything I dislike may be set up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use! Most employees get the hang of it very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The format is a bit outdated, but has a lot of features so the benefits outweigh the cons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to add billable time from either Outlook Mac/Windows or even through the small desktop apps. Also love the hands-off sync to Quickbooks Online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to bill within the email send box (instead of having to do the extra step of going to the sent folder to bill tracked time). We are using an older Mac desktop app and would love to see this updated. Also would love to see the ability for the Outlook Time Tracker to capture from any folder (currently only inbox and sent folders). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that there is a mobile app and I can submit my hours on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have tried to use all versions of Time Trackers integrations with Outlook, and they never seem to work. I have even opened up a ticket, but their support was lackluster. I have specific timeslots that I fill out each week. It would be great if I could set those to reoccur or if this actually connected with my outlook calendar. Apparently it works OK for the management of our company, as we've used Time Tracker for years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who needs to record time under a large number of projects, which isn't totally the same each week, I feel forced to use an additional tool to keep track of my time before entering it into eBillity. At least as we are using it, to pick a project you enter not just the number, but three other dropdowns and a checkbox. Tedious. The only concession to someone like me is a "copy the previous week's projects" function, which can only copy projects that had time that week, and can't be used if you've already started entering time. This means it's only feasible to enter time once a week, and I still always have to reconcile after I enter everything: Which projects got missed? Which did I accidentally enter twice? eBillity provides a time tracking solution for my small company. The web interface is usable but I often recieve complaints from my less tech-savvy employees that it's too confusing or frustrating to use. As a manager I like being able to separate billing against multiple charge codes and task orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The aforementioned complaints from my employees is number one in my mind. The web interface has a ridiculous number of features which ends up honestly feeling "overdesigned." I don't need to be able to hide/view every single column of a 4 column timesheet. Nor do my employees need a "new" and "classic" view mode. The time card entering screen alone has probably a dozen features that I'm sure 90% of my employees never touch. At the end of the day what am I really paying for here? I like that I can have multiple timers as I can sometimes have to switch to different tasks throughout the day. I love the ability to pause and then continue or to come back and be done and that we can run our billing based on the timesheets as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took a little while for me to remember that a timer was still open if I accidentally closed the website and how to access that timer again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can un-submit my timecard if I notice a mistake without bothering my boss or messing up the system. Also, I love the new reminders on Fridays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the size of the comment box on the right-hand side when you're finishing an entry. I wish that were bigger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like anything about this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface has changed multiple times over the years we've used this software, but there has never been a single change that positively impacted the way we work. We constantly run into lag and refresh issues, and generally have to close out and reopen to do simple tasks such as logging time. I'm not sure if it's just the way we use it (which is SUPER basic) and it's just us or what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What is most helpful about Time Tracker by eBillity is that it is super easy to use but also includes all of the features for organizing and planning billing times within the company. I love that I can see how much time I have spent in my week on different projects which helps me organize my week better! To track my hours, it only takes a few clicks because the program saves each project, and I never have to fill it in again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity is that there is a small issue where every once in a while the line I create to document my time duplicates itself and separates the time I spent on the week into two categories. I'm not sure why this has not been fixed yet, but hope they resolve the issue soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
