use this software as employee to track my times at the office. The software is very easy to use, it allows you to see the hours that you´ve worked in an organized time card with the dates, start and end hours and the duration of your shift. The software is very useful in order to track your next payment because it calculate it according to the hours worked. I know it has an schedule feature but I haven´t used it so far. Your PC needs to be on and running to punch in. Ie: My employees were often punching in later than their actual time because they were waiting for system start up, or windows updates. We ended up having to go to a stand alone time clock since we were victims of bad internet connections in our office. We are at the end of the internet circuit and lost several channels. Every time I call in, the staff are always genuinely happy to help. They are so friendly and easy to connect with. During dead air times, when I was waiting for things to load, the staff conversed with me about all sorts of great topics. She was funny and eager to explain without making me feel dumb. She helped me work through payroll reports and project reports as well as brainstormed "work arounds" for separating payroll and overtime in different territories. Time Clock Wizard always has an answer and if by chance they don't, you can request that they add or change things. Using Time Clock Wizard allows my staff an easy way to sign in and out from a clients home, allowing them to put notes in for what they helped with that day. I can look on the GPS to make sure where they are, if necessary. Customer service is fantastic, very knowledgeable and courteous. And the application is very simple to use! There was an issue where I could not figure it out on my own. I called their support staff and worked with one of their support, she was amazing. So far, I had an issue with exporting an employees time due to some changes. Could not figure out on my own. The problems I had encountered was easily helped. Easy, Easy set-up and simple user interface. Most of our freelancers are either remote or out of Country so it's hard to "check-in". As well as if they are onsite with a customer, you can use this on a tablet or phone so your time and work is notated. Go one step further and by using a shared work space not only can you see that they're online, but gone are the days of "I forgot to log my time etc "because as an admin" Time clock wizard will not forget thus I can adjust what I need to before it goes to payroll. I guess the only thing I can really find as being a negative. if I set up X hours for employees, some may need only 10 hours a week and others may need 40 hours a week, so I say "no overtime" but since I do not see the reports, I cannot see exactly how that is brought to our attention because I have indeed paid overtime in a few instances and I do not recall ever having this confirmed as being ok or not? One of the functions that has made my life easier is the ability to copy the list of projects you've worked on in previous weeks instead of having to search and locate each again individually. I work for a company that has hundreds of ongoing projects/categories that we track our hours to and there will be weeks/months at a time that I am working on the same 5 or 10, so being able to quickly populate my most recently used categories makes it quick and less burdensome to track my time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
so far, I haven't experienced a lot of cons to this product, but I do prefer a very simplified viewer, and sometimes the interface feels too busy for me. The GPS tracking services is a standout among other services. We'd like to have a geo-fence option as well. Scheduling is simple and I haven't found another vendor that makes project scheduling and job notes so simple. The only additional feature we're now looking for now is to incorporate work order forms on to our technicians tablets so paperwork is in the cloud and invoicing can be faster. At times, the Time Clock wizard GPS lags for our employees so I don't know when they actually left our office. For instance, I see a GPS dot that is an hour behind with no other information as to my employee's current location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the features are still a little clunky (customer selection in desktop scheduling and reports), and I would love to be able to tab-and-type all the way through, rather than using mouse clicks for time and customers. The "notify employee" that pops up when publishing a shift would save a lot of time and bother if it was a checkbox just above the "publish" button. "Search" in timesheets is very limited.
