Top Rated TickTick Alternatives
Here's what I liked about TickTick:
1. NLP: The first thing you will notice about TickTick's NLP is excellent. It can recognize complex commands, like for recurring tasks. It's not perfect, though, and if you're looking for only NLP, there are better options in the market, but it's a good option.
2. Pricing: I have been their premium customer; they are among the few companies offering purchase power parity pricing. The pricing in India is cheaper than their global pricing, which is good. Plus, they offer student discounts as well.
3. Stability: The app is available on any platform you can think of, plus all the apps are rock solid and stable. During my testing, I wasn't able to find any bug whatsoever.
4. Generous free plan: Although not enough to last a lifetime, the free tier is generous enough to test all features before purchasing.
5. Feature rich: The apps are filled with features, like Pomodoro, Calendar, a full-fledged note-taking app, adding tasks via email, and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Here's what I don't like about TickTick:
1. Interface: The interface is very dated. The themes, except the default black-and-white theme, don't help and feel childish. The white theme is too bright, and there's an AMOLED theme on mobile devices, which isn't great either.
2. Unnecessary features: At least these features are turned off by default. You don't need an Eisenhower Matrix, a mini calendar, etc. Having so many options confuses the user.
3. Iffy Search: The search sometimes misses out on some crucial parts, like notes inside the tasks or subtasks. This makes me question a bit about the reliability of the app, given some tasks might seem to be lost, which they do exist inside TickTick.
4. Support: I remember asking a simple question about TickTick, and never got any reply. Back then, I was a premium user. However, you might not need to contact the support for anything crucial. I will reiterate that the app is indeed bug-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I like about TickTick is that it allows me to annotate tasks in seconds and it's possible to create tasks directly from email. On the other hand , the lists and sub-lists are another thing I like since they are ideal for grouping tasks by specific activities [such as meetings, academic deliverables or administrative tasks in my case]. It's not easy to migrate from an previous task management tool to TickTick. I used Microsoft To-Do, though I had to recreate the Orgs and nested tasks again in TickTick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It includes user-friendly features that support us in test cases. For example, the subtasks function is particularly helpful in breaking down complex cases into smaller, more manageable steps, which makes them easier to track and execute efficiently. We may also keep track of pertinent documents and proof of test results by attaching files and links to each task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a great application for managing daily tasks, but one drawback is that it doesn't have any sophisticated data analysis features to provide in-depth information on the productivity of the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using this tool for years for everything - organizing tasks and projects in business, as well as for goals and a more organized personal life. I must say that among most of the tools I tried, this one turned out to be the most versatile, stable, convenient and multifunctional. It has everything for people with any level of organization and workload. From a simple to-do list to managing large and complex projects. I really like the ability to create lists, organize tasks using tags and priorities, integration with calendars, reminders and other useful things. I especially want to point out two things - help with healthy habits. For example, I asked myself that I needed to go to the gym three times a week and read at least a little book every evening. And the need to check a box daily motivates you not to forget about it :) The second thing is the Eisenhower matrix, which allows you to greatly simplify your workload by understanding which tasks are important and which can be delegated or deleted. Cross-platform is another huge advantage! Instant synchronization of tasks on Mac and Android works just great. In general, for me this is one of the vital tools for work and personal life. TickTick sets up date and time as soon as we write words/phrases like "tomorrow", "monday 8am", etc. Apart from that, we can add frequent habits to improve our days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Didn't dislike anything but if TickTick has different remainder tones for tasks/habits (I have notification anxiety, so I want to identify to do tones separately), or may be add text to speech that'll read out remainders, it'll make it more worthwhile. Requesting them to also add separate notes in case we just want to save for later without remainder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TickTick has a friendly UI design. I love the statistics and Habits monitoring feature since it makes it possible to establish effective routines and keep an eye on daily objectives. Plus, the adaptability of Smart Lists enables us to constantly arrange and modify tasks in accordance with our priorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Expanding view customisation and adding more sophisticated tag choices would be good for a greater level of organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the range of sophisticated organizing tools that TickTick provides, including the capability to make detailed checklists and the flexibility to set custom due dates and reminders. Additionally, the calendar connection guarantees an overview of activities, and the "Today" feature aids in the efficient prioritization of daily duties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The sync function occasionally experiences slight delays, especially when using numerous devices at once. Improving this would facilitate a more seamless user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
