What do you like best about TicketSpice?

The software is so flexible that it can be a bit daunting choosing the elements required to set up a page that offers everything that we want it to. I am in constant contact with TS's tech support team. I can't say enough good things about their quick response time, courtesy and ability to tease out the details of my problem. They offer solutions, screen-shots, timelines for responses and a bit of humour that greatly relieve the anxiety of accomplishing a specific goal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

Sometimes the software doesn't work as anticipated. That's usually where I need extra support to figure out how to approach the problem I'm trying to solve. There are some reporting issues that I've brought to their attention where items aren't being included in a report that should be. I've had some difficulty getting the Vimeo link to work in the background with TS's secure area for Livestreaming. TS Tech support has committed to reviewing the issue at the dev level. I'm satisfied it will eventually be sorted out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a non-profit community orchestra. We needed a cost-effective online software solution providing secure live-streaming ticket sales that would be up and running out of the box fast when the pandemic hit, and we had to stop offering in-person live concerts. Not having to go through the process of developing a software solution from scratch, which was outside our budget and staffing expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

Ticketspice has some excellent customer service partners that keep us organized and moving forward as a business. Their strategy based phonecalls focus on not only getting the job done but also provide marketing suggestions that will make us more successful. They get it! And David has been key to us working hard to double are online sales. I honestly think he is one of the best customer care reps I have worked with across numerous vendors and 20 years of business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

While many individuals excel at Ticketspice, I have had numerous ones that have left the ball fall too. Thankfully, quickly after announcing my frustration, I was reassigned to new reps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TicketSpice:

Try it! You will be so glad you did! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Timing! Efficiency! And ease of use for guests, as well as creating a pleasing ticketing page that sets the tone for the pleasing experience they will have at our farm.

I am maximizing the number of guests I can have on my property, down to the exact number of cars my parking lot each and every day, without the worry of folks arriving and needing tickets. They already know all the details, have paid and are ready for a day of fun.

In addition, they helped me look at my business outside of the usual box - which has been very valuable to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

I love the quick help response either in the form of a chat, email to my account rep, or a very thorough FAQ support directory. Not sure how other platforms work, but I have no desire to find out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

Up until this year, the reports were cumbersome, but they've instituted a new feature that I haven't yet used but am excited to try. It should be a game changer in summarizing the daily data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am able to know who is coming to "my party" which allows me to be prepared with products and staffing. This year we are also getting assistance with the constant barrage of questions from people who are not naturally gifted in researching answers easily found before they hit "contact us"; TIcketspice is granted access to our Facebook, Instagram and email provider to help us with this daily arduous task. What do you like best about TicketSpice?

The tutorials are helpful, and the customer service is very fast. The service reps solve my problems instantly. I like the appearance of the tickets. Also that you can add your own charges for fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

There are so many choices for customization that it can be overwhelming. Since I don't use the platform often I need to relearn how to set up my tix each time. I think this could be solved by setting up a template, but I just haven't gotten there yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allowing me to charge processing fees to the purchaser. Easy-to-use links to the sales page and to include in other promo. Making the ticketing purchase experience easy for our guests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

Setting up the event page was easy and very customizable. The ticket sales reporting and the event check-in was great too. Our guests loved having the ability to text their guests their tickets. We will use TicketSpice again for our next event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

Three minor suggestions. 1 ) When you text a ticket, be able to rename it. So you don't have to remember if you texted ticket #1 to Jane or John. 2) When someone purchases multiple tickets, make sure the additional box office items (drink, raffle, etc. tickets) are only associated with 1 ticket for the host or person purchasing the entry and additional tickets/items. 3) Integration with Kindful. What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

The use of the chat feature to ask questions is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

Some aspects are a little confusing like how to sell merchandise at an event, some of the reports are more difficult to figure out when you only need it for a short amount of time with longer down time in between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with how to check people in at some of our events. This helped greatly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

I appreciate that it's never crashed on us, and I can usually get support or someone to answer my questions fairly quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

The reporting system is tricky and often confusing. I still usually have to email and double-check our numbers, profits, sales tax etc, because it's not always clear and I just really don't trust the process or reporting software. I dread figuring out our reporting, sales tax and profit every season when our CPA asks for our sales data.

The other main point of confusion is usually the refunds. For the most part, I really love that we have the ability to take care of them on our own and move customers' tickets on our own when they call the farm and we can take care of it quickly. The main issue comes up when refunding a single ticket in an order and having to calculate out the processing fees and ticket fees for each one, instead of just clicking a button and everything getting refunded nice and neatly. It also tends to throw off our sales tax every year since we have to add that as a line item, and the reporting at the end of the year just isn't that nice and neat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

I guess the overall task of offering online tickets is the main thing. Other than that we switched to TicketSpice from TicketLeap mainly for the editing features and refund features. Being able to edit customer's tickets ourselves or refund tickets ourselves were two big reasons we switched to them in the first place. We also appreciate the different level app keys for managers vs. seasonal staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

TicketSpice understands the need to have an easy platform for the user and the extras for the Event Manager/Promoter. When I switch to TicketSpice I immediately saved time and money. Everything I needed was in one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

It's not a dislike - but more of a convenience or add-on. Often, I would like to provide comp tickets to special guests or volunteers. I would like to do it from the backside. I don't want the public to see them and I would like to control them. I would like to do it without a coupon code or be charged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TicketSpice:

TicketSpice provides all the functions needed and their customer service is stellar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

I love that TicketSpice hears me. A chat communication or phone call - they always follow up with email. They always make sure I am doing okay - before - during and after events. On other platforms, I would take 30 minutes or more seeking a phone number or contact details only... to never get to them. This would leave me feeling stranded in often urgent situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Unterberger of TicketSpice

Hey Lisa!

We’re so happy that you love the platform and our products. We pride ourselves on having some of the best customer service in the industry and some of the easiest software for our users.

As for the ability to give away comp tickets to some of your more special attendees, we actually have some free ways of doing this for you that are also invisible to your attendees (all done from the backside). Best of all, no coupons are needed!

We would love to connect you with one of our solutions members (or account managers) to help execute and implement these ideas on your page! There's a link below to schedule some time on their calendar, or feel free to reach out anytime and we can have someone set up a screen share with you.
