There are so many amazing aspects to ThoughtFarmer's interactive intranet platform. I brought an interative intranet to my company for the first time they had ever experienced one. Therefore, it was crucial to have an intuitive, insightful, and easy-to-use tool for our staff. I have used other platforms before, but ThoughtFarmer's is not ony the easiest one to use, but also the most professional and functional. After less than a year, internal communication has been transformed and is thriving now at RICK Engineering, with the RICK Hub (our ThoughtFarmer intranet) as a center hub for everything and employees more engaged than ever across all of our offices. ThoughtFarmer's staff made our build and enhancements since then incredibly smooth and pleasant. They're always helpful, prompt, and forward-thinking, and absolute pleasure to work with. I honestly do not have any true dislikes or complaints. The current platform/precess for pulling stistics has shortcomings and is not very easy to use. However, ThoughtFarmer has demonstrated a new stats platform they are working on now and will be launching soon, so we're really looking forward to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer care. We love working with our rep, Jasper! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is some lack of customization with the cards format that can be frusterating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support is top-notch. The launch process was great. We like that there are many options that we can customize as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It'd be great to have an image library that all editors can access. Some features are not accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were many things I liked about ThoughtFarmer, but one thing I liked best was having a team of individuals working directly with our organization to ensure our Intranet was a success. We could rely on them to answer any and all of our questions, and they made sure we were always headed in the correct direction. It was critical to have a team who knew our goals, and made sure we achieved each one. They made the implementation process smooth and ensured our end users would easily understand our new Intranet. There were few things I disliked about ThoughtFarmer. Of course, we had a few hiccups throughout the entirety of the process, but they were always there to answer any of our questions. I was responsible for designing our Intranet and ran into a couple of issues, but they were always prompt to get me answer to my questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a rapidly expanding small business at the time of purchase, we recognized the need for a centralized hub where all our staff could access vital information,
news, and resources pertinent to their roles. That's where ThoughtFarmer came in. It was straightforward to implement and user-friendly, making it
an ideal choice for us. It's not overly complex, yet it effortlessly meets all our needs.
But what truly sets ThoughtFarmer apart is their exceptional support team. If you ever find yourself stuck while configuring your site, you can count on them for assistance. They are not only knowledgeable but also quick to respond, offering valuable recommendations
and solutions. Also, ready to pivot with business as our needs changed over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The restricted options for customization have hindered some of our departments from shaping the platform to meet their specific requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a modern intranet platform that is light years ahead of our previous site. The admin portal gives me the ability to change and correct just about anything without too much trouble. ThoughtFarmer assigned an entire team to our site build and the overall conversion. They guided us through the entire process while scheduling regular weekly meetings. Their entire team was so friendy and available that it seemed almost effortless. Even now, almost a year later, they still check in with us once a month.
The biggest challenge was actually auditing twenty years worth of out-of-date, unorganized and old content. ThoughtFarmer had an entire project team that spent months going over this process while the site was being built on the backend. They already have a very refined process in place to help make this as easy as possible. We were able to sit back and focus on what content we needed while their developers did all the heavy lifting on the back end. By the time the site was ready our team had organized, updated and prioritized the content so it was ready to be implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I really like pretty much everything about it. I do, however, wish some of the features were a little more customizable. Their support, however, is excellent and always willing to hear about any new ideas or suggestions.
Our company had reservations about the social media aspect of the site as it might take away from employee productivity. It might be a good idea to keep that in mind if going down this road. Just how much time your employees will spend on their pages, ect instead of doing the work they are being paid to do? It may not be FaceBook but there is potential for some issues. I assume that this could be a problem across the board with other companies as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ThoughtFarmer is super user-friendly intranet software. Was easy to build out the site and will be simple to maintain. I'm excited about their content review feature to help manage our content as time goes on. Their implementation services and overall customer service was EXCELLENT. With their implementation services, you get bite-sized workshops that take you through all the important features and best practices so the process of building an intranet isn't overwhelming. Super helpful, especially if this is your first intranet site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I don't love about ThoughtFarmer is their app navigation. Clicking through thte site the way you would on a desktop just isn't super functional. That said, the search feature combats most issues that would arise from that, and I also understand that it's hard to fit a whole site into an app without watering it down. The team at ThoughtFarmer is incredibly responsive, and if they don't have an answer right away, they are diligent at finding one and following up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The back end design when it comes to modifying pages could be a bit more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
