What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

This is a great tool to help get news out across the company, organize employees, and just documentation in general.

What do you dislike about ThoughtFarmer?

I do not have anything bad to say about Thoughtfarmer. We just recently migrated our sitre to the cloud so still learning ins and outs on it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tech Support was so helpful with our migration. They were very complete with their planning and were there every step of the way.

What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

The ThoughtFarmer intranet product has every feature we could ask for, but what really stands out is their customer service. They were with us every step of the way with weekly meetings, quick email questions, even the weekends with their emergency line. We use the product daily to comunicate with staff and have received only positive feedback. ThoughtFarmer is easy and intuitive for admins and users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ThoughtFarmer solving and how is that benefiting you?

Communication through the intranet has reduced the amount of "all" emails. We can quickly share updates and connect with other in our organization who aren't local to us. We had an intranet previous to ThoughtFarmer (OnSemble), but it was not user or admin friendly. Help was hard to find, but that has not been the case with ThoughtFarmer. We can easily make changes without having to be computer coders. OnSemble was not user or admin friendly. The customer service aspect was not there for us with OnSemble. We were shifted through multiple CSMs during out implementation because it seemed their turnover rate was high. OnSemble was double the price of ThoughtFarmer for a less than great product. (I tried to include this info in the previous product section, but couldn't select anything from the list). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

I thought the customer service was great and the TF inrernal team was great to work with. The new features such as broadcasting are awesome! Implementing it was super easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

The ThoughtFarmer team' customer support is great and they work with you on solutions and ideas. They also listen to your ideas and put them forward to their team as enchancement and upgrades. Their customer service throughout implementation was top notch. They were respectful of our time and used meeting time efficiently. They were truly a partner which has continued post launch. What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

A knowledgeable team with a breadth of skills needed to deliver our project.

The team was very effective in their collaboration and communication. We held fixed meetings, keeping the project on time and on budget.

When issues arose, ThoughtFarmer was very attentive to our needs, ensuring an appropriate solution was put forward.

To facilitate the learning curve of the new product, we used it to manage our project, triage issues and collaborate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtFarmer?

We met some technical challenges that became feature requests for the product. We hope to see these soon.

There were some browser compatibility issues with our enterprise browser. We plan to update our browser early next year and will see some of these issues disappear.

As with all software solutions, you are presented with out of the box functionality that is always being improved.

ThoughtFarmer authenticates over many different platforms, so some of our asks do not meet their cost/benefit requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ThoughtFarmer:

The ThoughtFarmer product and team is a strong contender in the Intranet vertical.

The team is primarily located in BC, so keep that in mind for your implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ThoughtFarmer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We hit a number of roadblocks and communicated these issues. The ThoughtFarmer team accepted our feedback and asked us to log them as feature requests to see if they are able to incorporate them in to their product.

People Finder homepage to be configured for a better use case instead of listing all employees in alpha.

Hide images/icons of people when not necessary.

Bulk update users, for example Time Zone.

Clickable table headers in admin for sorting/finding.

Accommodate a Full Preferred Name (first, middle and last), not just a Preferred First Name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ThoughtFarmer?

When I started using ThoughtFarmer, I lost count of how many times I said, "Wow, that's really smart!" The product is very effective and has made my life easier. It has an abundance of well-thought-out features that we use every day. The setup and maintenance process was incredibly simple, and their support is exceptional. The team is friendly and focused and helped us navigate the confusing waters of designing navigation and configuring features that work best for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtFarmer?

Honestly, very little. I would like easier integration with some of the tools we use in-house (such as Service Now), but the team is already working on expanding their integrations, and I know they'll build the right thing through careful discovery and implementation. Our legacy intranet is not mobile friendly, it was designed with little oversight and has grown organically through the years. It is more of an index page than a proper intranet. Most people use it very little. It adds very little value to our agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
