Instead of vetting suppliers through Google, Thomas allows you to find vendors who are willing to invest in gaining your business. Furthermore, Thomas keeps a record of your favorite vendors, shortlists, RFQs, etc. so you don't have to keep a separate database. Take the time to familiarize yourself with their platform and it will be worth your time. I am just beginning to take advantage of their advanced features and newsletter. As mentioned above, I have found suppliers via Thomas Net with whom I have outstanding quotes. From a sales perspective, there is a good deal of setup required, and it's very important that your information is accurate.
