What do you like best about Thomas Network?

"Quick and easy to find suppliers for RFQ"

What do you like best about Thomas Network?

Within a few short minutes, I was able to find a handful of qualified local suppliers. Through Thomas Net, I had access to their stats, industry, certifications, etc. Because of the information provided through their platform, within 2 days I had half a dozen returned quotes from businesses within an hour's drive of my facility. Also, it is great that I can compare suppliers and add them to my shortlist. Thomas helps keep a record of the research I have already done, so I don't have to repeat it! What do you dislike about Thomas Network?

There were some companies that appeared in my search that were not quite what I was looking for. However, if you are halfway decent at Google searches, you should be able to change your keywords slightly to get the information you need. Honestly, the time it took to cull the bad suggestions from the good ones was less than had I just Google searched for everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Thomas Network:

Utilizing Thomas Network is a no brainer. The service is free and simple to use. Instead of vetting suppliers through Google, Thomas allows you to find vendors who are willing to invest in gaining your business. Furthermore, Thomas keeps a record of your favorite vendors, shortlists, RFQs, etc. so you don't have to keep a separate database. Take the time to familiarize yourself with their platform and it will be worth your time. I am just beginning to take advantage of their advanced features and newsletter. There are certainly more than enough resources Thomas Network provides for free, so don't lose out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As mentioned above, I have found suppliers via Thomas Net with whom I have outstanding quotes. We are launching a new product line and so we need to find domestic suppliers with different skillsets than our current suppliers have. I plan to utilize Thomas Net heavily in the future. Occasionally, I will find a company which has been categorized incorrectly, and turns up in search results which are not relevant to their offered services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Thomas Network:

From a Purchasing perspective, this platform is very easy to use, and doesn't require much setup. From a sales perspective, there is a good deal of setup required, and it's very important that your information is accurate. This will prevent accidental misrepresentations of your company in search results, and reduce the likelihood of receiving calls or inquiries out of your area of expertise. What problems is Thomas Network solving and how is that benefiting you?
