What really stands out with TheySaid is how it transforms the feedback process from a traditional survey into an actual conversation. Instead of customers just clicking through standard questions, the AI asks follow-up questions that feel relevant and personalized. This keeps the conversation flowing naturally, and often, you end up getting insights you wouldn’t get from a static survey. It feels like they’ve taken the best parts of customer engagement and built it into the survey process.
The most helpful part of TheySaid is the detailed insights it delivers without any extra effort. The AI digs into responses, pulling out the key themes and action points automatically. This makes it easy to get actionable data from customer feedback without spending hours reading through responses. Plus, being able to integrate the surveys into different touchpoints—whether it's on the website, in emails, or even post-purchase—means you can engage customers when they’re already interacting with your brand. It’s super flexible and adapts well to different use cases.
The biggest upside is how engaging it is for both the company and the customer. Customers appreciate being able to give more context to their answers, and it feels like they’re really being heard. The follow-up questions from the AI capture that deeper layer of feedback, which is often the most valuable for making product or service decisions. The setup process is also really smooth—everything from implementation to customizing the surveys can be done without much hassle. This is especially useful for small teams that need powerful tools but don’t have time for a long learning curve.
If I never need anything, the customer support is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that could be improved is the customization of the surveys. While the AI does an excellent job with follow-up questions, there’s still room for more flexibility in creating specific question templates for different types of feedback. It would also be nice to see more direct CRM integrations to streamline the flow of insights into our existing systems.
While the AI performs really well in most cases, there are moments when it doesn't quite capture the full context of a customer's response. This is rare, but when it happens, it can feel like the conversation stalls a bit. Additionally, although the summaries are excellent, it would be helpful to have more control over how the data is visualized and accessed.
Overall, this is a minor issue, but I wanted to be thorough with my review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TheySaid AI is a real wow experience. After customers answer a one-question survey, they're dropped into an AI experience where the AI asks really awesome probing questions, but also responds to customer questions. We address about 40% of customer concerns within AI and get calls scheduled another 30% of the time. So it's not just a survey, it's an entirely new engagement channel with customers. TheySaid has the ability to send one-question surveys to customers throughout their journey, but the AI feature isn't integrated into that Product yet, which is a super bummer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how TheySaid.io’s AI Survey makes feedback feel personal and engaging. The AI asks follow-up questions that get to the heart of my responses, making it feel like a real conversation. This approach gives more detailed and useful insights, which is a big step up from traditional surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t have many complaints. The only thing I’d like to see is more options for customizing the survey questions to fit specific needs better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This was a surprising tool! From the demo, I loved how easy it was to sprinkle survey questions across web properties, emails, and elsewhere. I imagine customers may be more likely to respond to these one-off questions inserted in the UX, than to longer, more formal (and more onerous!) surveys sent through email or delivered after a customer action. A survey during the customer's experience is alsomore likely to capture accurate and genuine responses.
But what was most interesting is the way this survey tool quickly morphs into a customer support and engagement tool. After the user inputs their response, the tool continues to engage with them as a natural language assistant -- either by trying to provide the customer with resources related to their response, or soliciting further information. This sort of interaction is invaluable, as it could potentially lead to a better customer experience, and additionally, provides the business with rich information about the customer experience and their needs.
During the demo, they set up the tool for my company's website very quickly, so I'm guessing implementation is easy and straightforward. I was also happy to see how accurate and useful the assistant's responses were when providing the user with more information about our product and documentation. I did notice that the assistant had trouble locating information on something we had recently published, but that's to be expected (search engines are the same!).
Finally, I liked the way you can program the tool to conclude the conversation with specific details. Customers can ask to be contacted by support or sales, and conversely, the business can be notified about potential support issues or upsell opportunities.
I'm excited to try out Theysaid once it's launched! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From the demo, TheySaid looked intuitive and easy to use. However, I have not yet used it myself, and still do not have full understanding of how the administrative UX. It would be interesting to know more about the UX for exploring survey summaries, responses, and trends. I'm also curious about how the tool might be used to collect actionable insights across vast amounts of content, such as technical documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We send weekly satisfaction surveys to our temp employees. TheySaid's AI conversational surveys gets us much better insights by asking the kind of questions we'd ask if we were on a call with the person. We're able to get additional context that we don't get from regular surveys. And these insights can easily be routed to the right person to follow up, so we're able to nip issues in the bud before they become serious.
Our people like that they can give us feedback beyond the generic standard question. They feel heard now since follow up is so easy. Super easy to setup and deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's pretty good now, but we are looking forward to the deeper CRM integrations that are coming Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really liked how the "setup" was basically automated (it scraped my company website to generate questions), and that we could deploy these surveys in a variety of ways. I especially liked how the AI would ask contextual follow-up questions that were specific the user input and our product, and how it captured lots of additional context we'd never get from regular surveys. Particularly, I was impressed at how the AI was able to switch contexts between getting feedback and actually answering questions our users might ask during the survey. Very cool. There's not anything to dislike, really. In its current state, the auto-generated questions are specific to product feedback, so I'd like to see more templates for asking different types of questions. Also it would be great to have the ability to query the summarized reports for more specific insights. But sounds like those are coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How did Theysaid AI come up with such great question recommendations? These are questions that our teams really want to know and discussed internally a lot. I am impressed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more direct integrations with other platforms. Right now we are sending all responses to Salesforce, then sync elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
