We use TestDome for live coding-tests of Data-related functions (Data Scientists, Data Analysts). The big benefit is that it allows for more than just 'standard Python', by importing packages frequently used by Data Scientists (Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, SciPy). Furthermore, it allows for standard and customized questions, making the test even more relevant for the applicants and us. It's flexibile user management is also a big plus in sharing responsibilities across the organization (budget responsible, test-developer, recruiter, interviewer, etc.). Making SQL tests is more complicated than making Python tests, but the standard (Premium) tests already cover a lot. PySpark is not yet supported. Paying with a credit card is much easier than getting the proper invoice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TestDome has helped us filter candidates quickly and easily, showing us which candidates have mastered their craft. I do not always agree with some of the questions on TestDome that are ranked Easy or Hard. Some questions that are tagged easy I would consider hard, and vice-versa. You can customize your tests, but the scoring mechanism in helping the test designer develop the best scoring needs to be improved. We just started working with TestDome. I appreciated having a live person to work with rather than chatbots as those usually never know the answers to my questions and getting a live person is hard. TestDome didn't do that. When I had a question about the test questions we selected. They thoroughly investigated my concerns and responded with a clear fact based answer. It's good to know the anticipated number of candidates that you'd expect to get a question correct, but as a hiring manager it would be good to be able to test a wide range of candidates across skillsets that I may not be an expert in, but with an explanation of why an answer is correct. The variety of questions isn't brilliant. It has got better recently, but it's still quite limited in certain subject areas. I'm not entirely convinced by the grading of a question either.
