009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore in Baltimore, Maryland, TeamGantt was created with a single purpose in mind: to bring calm and clarity to teams who work together.TeamGantt was originally founded in
009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore under the name Groundbreaking Designs LLC.At the time, John and Nathan were both developing software for a large roofing contractor in Baltimore, Maryland. They searched high and low for a good way to schedule and collaborate on projects online but couldn't find a solution that did both well. They decided to tackle the challenge of building their own gantt chart software on nights and weekends.After seeing their software’s potential, John and Nathan released an early version for other companies to try. It turns out, they weren’t the only ones who needed a better way to manage projects! The first public release of TeamGantt officially launched in November
010, and John and Nathan had their first customer within a few hours. TeamGantt quickly took off, attracting big-name customers like Twitter, Expedia, and Turner Broadcasting in just the first year.After the successful launch of TeamGantt, Groundbreaking Designs LLC rebranded to match its flagship product. Now, our company and software platform are both known as TeamGantt.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

Using TeamGantt, getting all project participants on the same page is simple so they can communicate and keep things moving ahead. Task collaboration and file sharing, which have rendered email useless, facilitate improved communication and teamwork. This is essential to any of my endeavors. What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

Due to the tool's delay, these modifications can no longer be implemented in real-time during meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously, we spent much time monitoring our workflow and developing spreadsheets for all operations, complete with categories and intricate time slots. TeamGantt lets managers decide who gets added to a project so if you are added as a team member you may not have athe ability to add anyone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?

TeamGantt shows me the project timeline and how many tasks have been done. If I want to know who is responsible for wht tasks I open TeamGantt and all the information is there so I save time. No team member has to leave their desk to submit completed tasks since they can do that right in TeamGantt Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

I was looking for a Gantt chart software that would be both easy to use and have advanced functions, and Teamgantt struck the perfect balance. The software is easy to use, and creating a professional-looking chart quickly. It was easy to use advanced features when I needed them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

I like how easy it is to create and update a project schedule. I appreciate the easy click and drag methods which are so intuitive. It is much easier to use than MS Project was - much less complicated to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

Adjusting to the way dependencies are created was a small struggle for me. Once I realized that I needed to create concurrent tasks differently, easy as can be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TeamGantt:

Understand who will be using the product as a user vs guest. We overestimated our needs initially, but TeamGantt makes it very easy to re-size yourpackage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest challenge TeamGantt solved for us was the ability to share project schedule with Stakeholders. When using MS Project, I had to constantly export and send, now I can just share the link once and it is always updated for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
