009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore in Baltimore, Maryland, TeamGantt was created with a single purpose in mind: to bring calm and clarity to teams who work together.TeamGantt was originally founded in
009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore under the name Groundbreaking Designs LLC.At the time, John and Nathan were both developing software for a large roofing contractor in Baltimore, Maryland. They searched high and low for a good way to schedule and collaborate on projects online but couldn't find a solution that did both well. They decided to tackle the challenge of building their own gantt chart software on nights and weekends.After seeing their software’s potential, John and Nathan released an early version for other companies to try. It turns out, they weren’t the only ones who needed a better way to manage projects! The first public release of TeamGantt officially launched in November
010, and John and Nathan had their first customer within a few hours. TeamGantt quickly took off, attracting big-name customers like Twitter, Expedia, and Turner Broadcasting in just the first year.After the successful launch of TeamGantt, Groundbreaking Designs LLC rebranded to match its flagship product. Now, our company and software platform are both known as TeamGantt.

Visual representation. All my collaegues are astonished how professional, clear, and informative TeamGantt is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

The color scheme in the working week.

I would like to have an indication of full week, more clear of the weekends, and especially the current day.

Right now the current date is colored almost the same as weekends.

P.S. You might want to heck some color schemes for color-blind people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am planning, and sharing the plans for the scientific work in the international collaboration DarkSide.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

I really like that TeamGantt has backward functionality to Trello. Being able to make changes in either service and have them reflected is super. Easily moving tasks around, creating new tasks and changing specifics within the tasks is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TeamGantt offers a streamlined, easy to use, easy to update, critical path and gantt chart solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

The ability to print in a calendar format could be improved, time consuming to have to save each month individually as a PDF. Not everyone on a project team is familiar with a gantt chart, and the ability to export in to a calendar, or at the very least print the entire project as a calendar at once would be ideal. The calendar feeds and csv feeds are great, but it's dependent on your calendar app or program - for example Google Calendars is terrible to feed in to, as Google takes forever to refresh and update from the feed.
