I started using the free version of TeamGantt a couple years ago, and haven't looked back. It was exactly what I needed: a Gantt-focused platform to help me and my team plan content. After about a year, I pleaded with my division to put us on the paid version so I could have all my team on there, and all my team seem to be as convinced of its value as I am: we extol its virtues to other teams within the division, and those other teams are starting to get curious and explore the possibilities, too.
I love the ease with which I can drag items back and forth in the timeline, and up and down in the stack. It's such an aid to planning. It's become an indispensable tool for me. I used to use a board system (not my choice) and I just couldn't visualize the timeline, or the overlapping of projects, the same way that a Gantt chart facilitates. I do wish there was a way that sequential, non-overlapping tasks within a group could be displayed on the same line, somehow. It would allow me to expand groups and have a better visual of what needs to be done. Currently, I can only expand two or three groups before my screen is taken up by just those groups, compromising my ability to view as many projects together as I could otherwise.
It would also be great if duplicating a group would duplicate things like progress logged on various tasks, or notes made. Sometimes I specifically duplicating a group, wanting to inherit some of those edits.
Automatic numbering of groups in the left-most column might be helpful. Right now, to see how many groups I have in a timeline, I have to count. I currently have around 80-90, so this is a bit of an annoyance ;P Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Forget spreadsheets and clunky over complicated planning tools. TeamGantt plans are so easy to build, update and share with colleagues and clients. I've used it both personally and professionally and love it for both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a bit glitchy at times but i have done some pretty big plans. Also sometimes I have a number of tasks running in parallel that aren't directly dependent on each other but I want them to shift together if other dependencies shift. Appreciate it's a tricky one but if we could somehow group these that would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how it's very streamlined and easy to use. I like the aesthetics. Very professional instrument when presenting the charts. I love that you can make segments of tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that there isn't a popup menu when hovering above a task. I'd like it to show the start date and when it's projected to finish. I'd like to customize more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to plan a project with a group of people, assigning tasks, deadlines with reminders, and a great Gantt Chart showing the project plan as a whole. It's professional-grade, so happy to pay for the service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price - if you are on a budget, as there are free tools out there, but the free ones do not have all of the bells and whistles as this one does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like the fact that when I reduce the time of a line item that is on the critical path all items on that path do not move in with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the simplicity of it. I never used a Gantt chart before, but the fact they have different views helps tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great if they provided something similar to what Basecamp provides - the ability to lock/unlock notes on a task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
