I didn't face any problems using it, all was good and it works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My business juggles many simultaneous projects. I used to keep track of them using a calendar and written task lists but as the number of projects grew and they became more complex, this approach no longer worked. TeamGantt allows me to visualize all of my projects at once - more than that, I can easily schedule activities for my projects so that things don't pile up unexpectedly. So my project planning and execution has become a lot more smooth.
If my team and I get ahead or behind schedule I can shift project activities around. The ability to have dependencies makes this really easy. Move one activity and the dependent activities adjust automatically. Daily progress reports to my email help with a check-in for what I should be paying attention to and give me a head's up before a deadline is on top of me.
Templates are also great because I don't have to create a new project from scratch every time I get a new client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I finish a task ahead of schedule it still shows up in my progress reports until the original due date; once it's done I would rather not keep seeing it listed as 100% complete every day - a small annoyance.
Repeating tasks can't be easily created/displayed. If I want to do the same sequence of tasks multiple times over the course of a project (for example conduct interviews every 4 months: develop/update interview protocol, interview subjects, analyse data, write report) there isn't an easy mechanism to set this up. Rather, I end up typing in long lists of the same tasks over and over and messing around with how to group them to look as ungainly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer Service: The customer service team have been exemplary in providing assistance in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Whenever I was stuck on a particular feature of the system, I was always supported by the team, to mitigate any issues that may have occurred.
User-friendly: The website is very easy and clear to navigate. All the features are cleary explained/outlined in the side panel. Furthermore, I particularly love the availability of personalized videos to guide users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes exporting the project has been a hassle, due to compatibility issues. However, with the help of their friendly team, I did overcome the issue. In the future, it would probably be recommend that they have an guide on how to export the project in particular format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Simple, intuitive interface makes it easy to keep everyone on the same page.
2. It's easy to start and track jobs across the platform.
3. You can invite people inside and outside of your company to just view or participate as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The pricing has changed and now restricts each project manager in number of projects, which is a problem for small companies that utilize one or two project leaders to manage many jobs.
2. The default setting on email notices hammers your in-box. We tell everyone coming in to a project to adjust that first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The project owner can create Gantt charts in one click for the entire project and can have a control on the critical path to ensure projects are done within the timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tasks can be assigned to the responsible owners but the dashboards some times does not refresh to the names assigned. Tracking multiple projects comes with few limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to make detailed schedules which can be exported in many different formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to export the data in ms project file. Can be more customizable like MS project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TeamGantt is excellent for precisely what I need to do. Simple Gantt charts are straightforward to make and look very nice. Other websites I found were not as easy to use and were not as nice visually compared to TeamGantt Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the pricing of premium, for a business it is reasonable but for a solo user it is way too expensive for me to justify purchasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I started using the free version of TeamGantt a couple years ago, and haven't looked back. It was exactly what I needed: a Gantt-focused platform to help me and my team plan content. After about a year, I pleaded with my division to put us on the paid version so I could have all my team on there, and all my team seem to be as convinced of its value as I am: we extol its virtues to other teams within the division, and those other teams are starting to get curious and explore the possibilities, too.
I love the ease with which I can drag items back and forth in the timeline, and up and down in the stack. It's such an aid to planning. It's become an indispensable tool for me. I used to use a board system (not my choice) and I just couldn't visualize the timeline, or the overlapping of projects, the same way that a Gantt chart facilitates. I do wish there was a way that sequential, non-overlapping tasks within a group could be displayed on the same line, somehow. It would allow me to expand groups and have a better visual of what needs to be done. Currently, I can only expand two or three groups before my screen is taken up by just those groups, compromising my ability to view as many projects together as I could otherwise.
It would also be great if duplicating a group would duplicate things like progress logged on various tasks, or notes made. Sometimes I specifically duplicating a group, wanting to inherit some of those edits.
Automatic numbering of groups in the left-most column might be helpful. Right now, to see how many groups I have in a timeline, I have to count. I currently have around 80-90, so this is a bit of an annoyance ;P Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Forget spreadsheets and clunky over complicated planning tools. TeamGantt plans are so easy to build, update and share with colleagues and clients. I've used it both personally and professionally and love it for both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a bit glitchy at times but i have done some pretty big plans. Also sometimes I have a number of tasks running in parallel that aren't directly dependent on each other but I want them to shift together if other dependencies shift. Appreciate it's a tricky one but if we could somehow group these that would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
