I started using the free version of TeamGantt a couple years ago, and haven't looked back. It was exactly what I needed: a Gantt-focused platform to help me and my team plan content. After about a year, I pleaded with my division to put us on the paid version so I could have all my team on there, and all my team seem to be as convinced of its value as I am: we extol its virtues to other teams within the division, and those other teams are starting to get curious and explore the possibilities, too.
I love the ease with which I can drag items back and forth in the timeline, and up and down in the stack. It's such an aid to planning. It's become an indispensable tool for me. I used to use a board system (not my choice) and I just couldn't visualize the timeline, or the overlapping of projects, the same way that a Gantt chart facilitates. I do wish there was a way that sequential, non-overlapping tasks within a group could be displayed on the same line, somehow. It would allow me to expand groups and have a better visual of what needs to be done. Currently, I can only expand two or three groups before my screen is taken up by just those groups, compromising my ability to view as many projects together as I could otherwise.
It would also be great if duplicating a group would duplicate things like progress logged on various tasks, or notes made. Sometimes I specifically duplicating a group, wanting to inherit some of those edits.
Automatic numbering of groups in the left-most column might be helpful. Right now, to see how many groups I have in a timeline, I have to count. I currently have around 80-90, so this is a bit of an annoyance ;P Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TeamGantt is one of the most powerful tools that helps display workflow diagrams in an organized, uncluttered manner that is easy to understand for all parties of the project. I loved the ease of setting up the WBS and the ease of creating sublevels under each section. Adding activities and linking them according to relationships is easy. The best thing about TeamGantt is the presentation style, the ease of coordinating the schedule, and the expressive color bars that highlight the importance of the priority of activities and the level of progress in them. It is wonderful that more than one member can participate in preparing timetables as well as updating them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no drawbacks, but the capabilities of TeamGantt must be increased so that we can measure the overall completion rates and compare them to what was planned, as well as so that we can monitor the various resources in the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TeamGantt is a fantastic, free-of-charge GANTT Chart maker. Using TeamGantt, I have been able to create GANTT Charts for small and large-scale projects, allowing for prospective tasks to be noted, as well as the proposed time by which they should be completed.
The interface is very easy to navigate, and the GANTT charts are visually appealing, and easy-to-follow. TeamGantt has come in very handy when working on large audio projects as a teaching assistant and within my further studies. Those projects of which have had long timescales; allowing me to form a visual representation of the project and the required tasks to be completed, and the date by which they should be done. As an individual using TeamGantt to manage my projects, schedules and timelines, there are restrictions to the number of projects for which a GANTT chart can be made unless a subscription is purchased. These subscriptions of which seem more orientated towards businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dashboard color coding options may be limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The simplicity of the functionality and formatting. It allows me to quickly set up new projects, communicate a clear message, and train staff to do the same. We tried MS Project and Smartsheet first, both of which lagged in these areas.
On top of this, they reallly excel with internalizing the needs of project managers. We love the functionality to define collaborators or other companies under resources without assigning them a profile, or paying extra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
