What do you like best about Tangelo?

We are big, big fans of Tangelo. We have a very robust, intricate global onboarding program that trains hundreds of employees per year in 15+ different roles. Scheduling this program manually month over month was a nightmare - super error prone, time-consuming, it just wasn't scalable.

Then in comes Tangelo with a solution to automate nearly every step of our process which has reclaimed us back 35hrs of productivity a month (over 95% of our total time to schedule).

Not to mention the team behind Tangelo is remarkable group of people that truly want to help you succeed with their platform. True joys to work with.

What do you dislike about Tangelo?

I feel there are improvements to the UX that Tangelo can improve upon - Sometimes it feels like a lot of clicking around different tabs/menus to import and assign everything that needs to be done.

What problems is Tangelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our Pre-Onboarding has 67 Tasks, Onboarding another 89. All felt personal and our user experience NPS scores reflected the joy of Tangelo use. We were able to add a COBRA workflow for terminated employees and provide folks with their COBRA letter earlier than snail mail. We were able to add new employees to different training cohorts (OKRs, Leadership 101's, etc.) such that there was no gap in alignment. What do you like best about Tangelo?

We were in need of an onboarding platform as our company was growing quickly, and we found Tangelo! From the very beginning—over two years ago—the Tangelo team has been amazing. Sophie, their Head of Customer Success, has been an incredible partner, and it's been a pleasure working with her and her team. We’ve watched them grow significantly, and they’re always striving to find better solutions to help us achieve our goals. When we provide feedback, they work to find a solution as soon as possible.

Initially, we signed on just for HR onboarding, but we’ve since expanded our use of Tangelo as a sales enablement tool as well, which has been a HUGE help. Implementation was easy—they helped us upload our previous onboarding to-dos, got us up and running, and were always available for calls. Their platform is very user-friendly and makes it easy to create and customize tasks and workflows. You can embed forms, links, photos, videos, GIFs, and more! I highly recommend Tangelo!! We did have a few issues with automating the addition of users to the platform, but it was an issue beyond the control of both Tangelo and our team. What do you like best about Tangelo?

We started implementing / Using Tangelo in Q4 of 2023 here at ZoomInfo for onboarding and I have to say this thing is like magic! Here at ZI, we onboard around on average around 700 new hires in just the GTM org per year (over the last few years) and I was responsible for manually scheduling/setting up every new hire sending 10's of thousands of invites per quarter just for the onboarding program. With Tangelo, we set up the automation of that scheduling (which for me was the biggest paint point and time suck) and I have to say, once we got this thing humming along it's been very cool and valuable to see it in action. Not only is it calendar automation but there are so many other features we currently use and plan on using this year. We implemented their daily checklists per role that automatically assign and take them through the onboarding journey with clean/actionable/clear calls to action. (Which we've already got great feedback about) The UI is smooth and the reporting is robust and super customizable. Not only checklists we also utilize it for comms in Slack, and email sends. I now have more time to focus on innovating/iterating in other areas of the program and business to further the new hire experience and we couldn't have done it without Tangelo. If you want to save time/money and at the same time up your company's new hire experience this is the Tool to go with. Not to mention the whole Tangelo team is super eager to get in and triage/help with any questions we have at the drop of a dime. No real downsides! This tool is meant to streamline and automate your manual processes so if it can help in just one of those areas it's going to be valuable for you. What do you like best about Tangelo?

First the team at Tangelo is phenomonal - Henry, Gurav, Sophie are all-stars.

Tangelo is easy to use with an intuitive UX, but don't let that fool you Tangelo has very complex capabilities. Tangelo has automated thousands of emails and calendar invites that used to be sent manually. We've beec able to customize communications to role, location, time zone and more which helped us uplevel our communications as our company expands globally. We've also been also to take advntage of a sophisticated slack integration which allows for automated custom slack messages to be sent to individuals as well as add and remove users slack channels (including private channels which is not a capability our IT could currently do). Tangelo has also allowed us to uplevel our preboarding communications to new hires with an ease of emailing personal email address that we get from our HRIS.

We immeadiately saw a huge ROI and we're less than 6 months since launch, I'm excited for even more wins! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tangelo?

This is a dynamite solution and a terrific team that solved a 5 year problem for us in two months - that can't be said for most applicaitons. We onboard new hires every two weeks into a highly complex program with 90+ total sessions, across roles. All of the calendaring was handled by one smart, patient FTE, but it took 50% of this time. 100% manual, high complexity, no redundancy - that level of risk was just not tenible. We drafted a needs analysis and did a vendor comparison of leading HRIS, BPA, and employee experience solutions and nothing could support the complexity that we needed with the ease of administration that we required: until we found Tangelo. Henry handled the sales cycle himself and it was one of the best examples of a value-driven co-sell that I've seen: and I'm in Revenue Enablement! Once we deployed, we saw time to first value in just 12 days, thanks to Sophie and Tangelo's partnership to get us onboarded and implemented quickly and correctly. The admin UI is clean and intuitive. The automations work and have lots of options for trigger events. The system was built in a smart, extensible way allowing enterprises to customize for their bespoke needs. We have the ability to tailor the user experience for branding and tone. Reporting is coming along and provides some rich options around parsing user cohorts to get to granular read outs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tangelo?

Great first impression onboarding tool for our new hires that is super easy to navigate, an excellent repository for useful new hire information (ie., handbooks, onboarding forms, benefits brochures and you name it) and it is a great first stop to set our new hires up for success.

From the Admin side... again, super easy to navigate and configure to work with your organizations particular nuances.

Future.... I'm excited to begin using Tangelo as our Learning Management System for all of our staff training. I don't "dislike" anything about Tangelo. If I have an issue or need assistance, the Tangelo Support staff is always quick to respond and they are helpful if you can't figure out how to add a feature... plus, they are always open to new ideas / ways to improvement the software. What do you like best about Tangelo?

Tangelo has given me hours back in my day. On-Boarding is 95% automated now and I'm sure all new hires get the information they need to be successful and quickly acclimate to the company. Tangelo is also organized and is very intuitive - very short learning curve to get up and running. Customer Service teams are the best I've ever experienced in any industry! Tangelo is not widely known and so I had to really work to sell it to my leadership. Tangelo helped me tremendously in preparing my presentation so I was able to get it approved and their prices are very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am finally able to give my new hires all the information that we hoped they would get before Tangelo. They read it, acknowledge it, and can go back to it as needed. We are able to give them information on frequently asked questions. This helps new hires to quickly acclimate to the company and get started. Additionally, I am in the process of rolling Tangelo out to existing employees as a resource. We have recently updated our Employee Handbook. I am using Tangelo to notify them of this and how to acknowledge receipt. It helps me see who is actively engaged in completing their tasks and I'm able to assign tasks to Supervisors to be sure that their on-boarding tasks are completed. I love Tangelo! What do you like best about Tangelo?

Tangelo's platform has helped us streamline and optimize our onboarding experience for newly hired employees. Automating many of the processes that used to be manually done each week has allowed us to focus on other areas of the onboarding process, and positively improve other aspects of the employee experience. What do you like best about Tangelo?

It is our one-stop for all things onboarding. It's both a beautiful new-hire facing checklist and a fool proof tool to help our People Team onboard someone without any task falling through the cracks. The automations are great, you simply drop a new hire into the flow and all things are triggered in a timely manner, with all the notifications that we set up upfront. I love how easy it is to personalize automatically triggered emails, tasks flow to different people in the company (IT, EA, People Team, Hiring Manager, etc). What do you dislike about Tangelo?

Honestly, if I missed a certain functionality, the Tangelo team has an amazing customer first mentality where they regulalry check in with you to see what other features you'd like to see and to give you a head's up of what's about to launch. Oftentimes, the feature I was missing (Example: I didn't want the new hire to see all the tasks for their first day prior to the start date, since that could be daunting and confusing) and voila, Tangelo's team was already working on it!!
