I work for not-for-profits, arts organizations, and small businesses. Synology Active Backup provides a low cost, robust solution. Enabling user recovery saves my impoverished clients money. It has been solid and not too burdensome in bandwidth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setup is easy but some users have really gone wrong with it when they attempted to do it on their own. Not too bad to fix, but a bit challenging for the "How hard could that be?" crowd. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Synology Active back up suite is the best solution for a small/medium size company as it is very easy to use and install. I managed to set up the back ups in all computers, including the server, and didn´t need the help of any technical consultant. Besides, I hired c2 to duplicate the Backup in the Cloud, making it safer. The cost is very low compared to its competitors, which is a another great advantage.
