What do you like best about CloudSOC Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)?
It proposes all the cloud platforms and granually the analyst can adapt a different policy for each of them to prevent exfiltration of data. It allows to prevent data exfiltration examinining each connection to cloud solutions and reporting it to the platform managed by the cyber security analyst, in that case the analyst can choose to apply a blocking or allowing policy to the action detected. It is very useful in night hours, where uploading anomalies can appear more frequently, in that case it is possible to apply policy based on working and no working hours. What do you dislike about CloudSOC Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)?
A focused training provided by the vendor about the theme and explain the little tricks to better use the solution. The solution is not easy to use for a novel, therefore it could be very useful to training an analyst about the theme: Cloud Access Security Broker and later go deeper explaining advantages of it use and the best practices in managing it. Moreover could be a little pre-requisite for the analyst to know as more cloud platform as possbile, at least to know which services they offer, to better analyze the context of a possible exfiltration when it seems to happen. What do you like best about Symantec VIP?
Symantec Access manager is a great multi authentication tool which is a great for connecting internal and external applications, web pages and enterprise application suites. It caters to various industry leading software like Paypal, ebay,One logic, T-mobile, imcu, USAA, Bank of Australia, etc. and various other industries. It offers Push authentication requests which doesn't require to enter anything, just swiping up will complete the request. It also has a QR code for digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. The unique credentials offered are clone proof and unhackable with 256 bit level of encryption. No need to remember two factor authentication codes as application extensions offered will run in the background and do the work for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Symantec VIP?
Symantec authentication offered on the mobile device requires you to have the mobile with you all the time to get the authentication accepted, which is annoying sometimes. While it offers exciting and great options of authentication methods to facilitate login, but a bio-metric enhancement or a face authentication method on desktop and mobile will be quite exciting and promising. The cost is also a deal breaker and hence other authentication applications from Google and Microsoft take a lead. The cost of investing the application is not justified and hence needs moderation.
